Home is where the Heart is

Izzy was excited that she was finally going to look at apartments with Sebastian. She had turned eighteen and even found a kid that she wanted to adopt. Though she hadn't exactly told Seb yet. She felt kinda guilty that she hadn't told him about Stiles but at the same time he didn't want to overwhelm the man. She saw him and whistled, she had went for a simple khaki skirt and a button up blouse. It seemed like the buttons that rested against her chest with the slightest of movements.

"Hey babe" She said coming to a stop, her oversized purse hanging from her shoulder. She had gotten all her classes situated a bit upset that she didn't have enough classes to be a college student. However it was something that she would deal with, she was really good a bouncing back from disappointment. "Are you ready?"

Izzy smiled and shrugged her shoulders "a two bedroom, good neighborhood, not a lot of traffic and possibly a back or front yard" Okay so she did know what she wanted and for a very specific reason. She had to make sure the house was up to code with Foster care regulation.

"Oh a big kitchen??" She said smiling and slipping her hands in his as they walked. She didn't want to throw it in his face that she had a car. She understood that he didn't have a lot of money. She wondered what his job was and why it laid so little. Then again living in a dorm there wasnt a reason to really have a high paying job. She wondered if she should be worried about what he did for a living.

"Are you looking for anything specific?"

Addmitedly izzy was worried about what the adoption officials would think about whatever sebs job was. If of course she could always handwave it and take full responsibility but she was sure that Seb would be okay with her choice. Which didjt reslly reflect in the fact she still hadn't told him about stiles. "Seb, im not worried about that honestly, we're both in school and Im more well if than you. I don't mind you can't give as much as me" She said kissing him and smiling brightly.

"I love you too Sebastian" She said as they walked towards the house. She didn't want to be picky but she knew the house had to be child safe. At the same time she couldn't say that since seb didnt know about Stiles.

Izzy was incredibly excited to look at the house as well as the whole what it meant for her relationship. In all honesty, this was a really big step in making her see that maybe her and Seb would last for a really long time. It had been awhile since she was positive that it was the first time that she had felt any sense of security. Especially since she had gotten the news that she would be forever stuck in her seventeen year old body. She was worried about how that would go over with her. She didn't want to witness her first love die, but for now she was content with how they were in that moment.

"I was hoping to find something, with a big enough kitchen and living room for my projects. With the fashion, charity events and bake sales I'm really busy. Also it has to be at least a two bedroom" She said smiling at the woman as she judged her. She had a feeling that the first house would be horrible. She hadn't exactly given the lady a price range, just what she was looking for and her age. While her foster mother's last name was well known, hers was not. "Seb don't you want anything in a house, like a shower big enough for two" She asked snickering.

Izzy nodded and followed the Real Estate Agent squeaking and hitting Seb lightly on the shoulder and shaking her head. She looked around, the lady describing the house even though it wasn't anything like she wanted. Izzy was too nice to interrupt her so she let the lady go on with the tour. From the start the kitchen was way too small, she wouldn't be able to have multiple things going on without things getting crowded fast. The living room wasn't that bad but she didn't like the way the paint was peeling off at the ends. "Is that lead pant? I swear that looks like a mouse hole in the corner" She said inspecting closer a small mouse scurried past and she nearly jumped into Seb's arms as she quickly stepped back.

"Yes the house has had minor rodent problems but that will be fixed in a couple of days and yes that is lead paint but it shouldn't be of any harm we plan on getting rid of it." Izzy nodded but gave seb a look that said she wasn't feeling it as she walked upstairs. The second bedroom looked more like a closet and there was no closet in it. The master bedroom had a bathroom, and there was a half bathroom at the end of the hallway. Meaning that Stiles would have to use theirs to shower.

"What do you think Sebastian?" She asked as she walked back down the stairs and took a deep breath. She hated it, it didn't even seem good for an adult to live in let alone a kid. Hell there was no space and she wasn't looking for some quick independant rebling from her parents type thing.
