She took a small bow, entering the cafe. Harry Potter? Well, maybe a little, except for the fact she was probably less powerful then any of the characters in the books. A bit sad to think about, but nothing to really dwell about. She can leave the brute force to others.

"Well, a little. Magic in this world takes many forms. While there can be someone like Harry Potter, my magic is quite a bit weaker. All I can do is make myself and a few lite objects levitate and hold a few objects in a magic pocket."

To show what she meant, Elizabeth waved her hand a little. There was a little poof of smoke and a small book appeared in her hand.

"Ha! That's awesome!" Amos exclaimed probably a bit too loudly. He quickly shrank and blushed, embarrassed by his outburst, and ignored all the looks he was getting from all around the cafe. He grinned sheepishly and scratched the back of his head.

"Heh, sorry. Just that it's so cool. That's, like, actual magic!" That was way too cool. So far, he had chalked up his abilities to being genetic, like a superhero. But maybe his was actually magic too!

Nah, he thought. Being a hero might be cooler than being a wizard.

"I mean, I just make force fields." He added, his signature grin back on his face.

Such a cute outburst for something so minuscule. Her magic was hardly worth such an outburst, however, it did not stop her from gleaming brightly. She is pretty spectacular and quite worth the praise from Amos.

"It is actual magic and quite amazing, yes. However, your ability of force fields is quite a feat as well. A lot more useful in a intense situation then making a book appear in front of me. Definitely something worth to focus on and practice on."

Walking up to the counter, she ordered her tea and Amos' drink, then stepped off to the side and wait. Making friends with him seems to be already working out in her favor.

The two of them walked over to a free table. Amos draped his arm over the back of the chair and slunk down onto his seat.

"So uh, what brings you here? Need to practice your magic?" he asked.

He was pleasantly surprised he had made a friend so soon, and with a wizard at that! Wait, wouldn't she technically be a witch? Meh, wizard sounds cooler, he thought.

Elizabeth joined him at the table, sitting properly. Obviously Amos didn't care about his poster or how he presented himself while in public. A bit admirable, but barbaric none the less. And a bit forgetful, apparently. Or at the very least he wasn't good at listening. Which makes sense given the young man's excitement when he heard she had magic. Well, telling him again would be easy, obviously, but that wouldn't help him at all with his lack of listening skills.

"Well, Amos, I believe I already told you why I am here. So, why don't you tell me why I am here. Or why you think I am here."

"Huh? You did?" He said confused. Then he suddenly remembered that she had, in fact, already told him. He scratched the back of his head and smiled apologetically.

"Oh, you did! Sorry, just that the whole concept of magic is just exciting me."

Geez, he probably looked goofy to this girl. Two minutes into conversation and he already made a fool of himself. Amos tried to think of something to say, to move the conversation forward. He looked at her, and got caught in her bright red eyes. He felt his cheeks flush and pule quicken, so he looked off to the side.

"So uh, how do you actually train and practice magic?" He relaxed and looked back at Elizabeth.

"What do you just read dusty old books?" His grin was back on his face once more.

That was a pretty good reaction from him, which led Elizabeth too even chuckle a little. He didn't actually say why she had come there, but Amos probably embarrassed himself enough, she can give him a little break. Plus, in his moment of confusion, he seemed to have blushed and looked away after looking at her. Quite cute, really. Seems like he was interested in her looks, if not already at a point of her being a crush. Flattering for her and a bit funny. Not the whole dusty book comment, though. Well, wasn't that bad of a joke, but it wasn't enough to make her chuckle, just smile a little.

"Well, I don't honestly know. I haven't really trained that much with magic, just learning the basics on my own."

"Well I guess we're kind of in the same boat there." He raised his hand, palm up. Suddenly, a small translucent orb appeared. "I mean, I'm pretty good already. I think. So I'm not sure how I can train and get stronger."

His eyes get dark, somehow betraying his natural disposition. His mind drifted to an uncomfortably recent memory. The crater in Central City was blamed on a meteorite, and the whole area had been cordoned off, quarantined. But he knew the truth. After all, it was why he was here.

And like a storm that passes in sea, his eyes lit up again. His smile returned and his mini-force bubble de-materialized.

A cute little orb. Was that with his force field magic or something else different. Also, what was with his eyes. For just a small second, Elizabeth felt like some of Amos's high spirits diminished. Probably just a flash back about something that happened in his life. If people with dangerous magic weren't able to learn how to control in time, things would probably get ugly. Or he was hated for his magic. Maybe he was jealous of someone else's power of vice versa? Eh, oh well. She'll find out later if she wanted.

"Well, maybe it's to figure out more of how to use it in a situation rather then just using it."
