Today was gonna be quite the interesting day, Elizabeth could already tell. She had just arrived here to the island of gifted individuals such as herself on that morning. The sky was bright, people were on there way for a little snack or maybe a coffee during their mid afternoon break. Maybe some were just students or graduates with free time, Elizabeth didn't know. This didn't stop the young Arlnest from being excited just to find and meet some new people. Oh, and she may be able to knock a few items off of her bucket list by the end of the day.

For now, Elizabeth's main priority was to observe her surroundings and learn the layout of her new home. Her red eyes were bright as she looked at a map, which was unsurprisingly floating in front of her. One arm was crossed while her left arm was tapping the map, trying to figure things out. She was somewhere near this shop of jewelry and small cafe....No, she doesn't see either... The white haired student looked up a bit confused, looking for a few landmarks. The lights dawned inside of her head and switches began to turn on. Alright, she was by a hotel an museum of some sorts. The cafe is down the street to the left. Perfect.

Amos was totally lost. He had only been here for about an hour, but no one had given him any instructions. He kept glancing at his map, but for the life of him, he couldn't figure out where he was headed. He was surrounded by people and couldn't identify any landmarks on the map. He was so turned around, in fact, that he didn't notice when he bumped into white-haired girl.

"Whoops! Sorry!"

Feeling quite proud of herself, Elizabeth was just about ready to head down to the cafe for a nice jasmine tea when there the map was suddenly thrust into her face, along with the body of a wandering boy. Stumbling back after she let out a small groan of confusion, Elizabeth shook her while trying to keep her balance. Looking up at Amos and hearing his apology, she could see that he didn't really mean to do anything harmful. Though the map in his hand seemed to indicate he was in the same predicament that she was. She smoothed out her shirt and quickly folded her map, then gave the other new student a bow.

"Tis fine, sir, I understand how these things can happen. Just be sure to be more careful next time and to not walk and try to figure out the map at the same time."

Amos rubbed the back of his head and grinned.

"Hehe, sorry about that. I'm just really, really lost."

Now that he wasn't distracted by his map, he got a better look at the girl in front of him. Sure the white hair was pretty different, but her red eyes were what instantly drew his attention. He had never seen anyone with red eyes before, and he couldn't look away. He put his map in his pocket and reached out for a handshake.

"Uh, hi! My name is Amos. Amos Wilder. Are, uh, you lost too?"

This man seemed to be quite the character, that's for sure. He seemed to be focused on her eyes, almost instantaneously locking onto them, or at least that is what Elizabeth observed after regaining her composure. It was a bit flattering, really, for him to realize just how great to Liz's eyes were. Not that she needed a reminder, of course.

"I am Elizabeth Arlnest. And no, I'm not lost, dear."

She grabbed Amos's hand, giving him a nice firm handshake. She would have preferred just bowing, but it seemed a bit more appropriate to do this. If he was lost, then Amos was probably a new student as well, or at least really bad with directions. Either way, it'd be nice to have someone to talk and have tea with her.

"I was just about to head over to a little cafe if you wish to join me, sir."

"Sure thing. I should probably take a break before I lose myself in this city even more." He said with a grin.

He picked up his duffel bag and slung it over his shoulder. He had to admit, he had only been here for an hour or so and he was already bumping into cuties. Maybe getting lost wasn't the worst thing to happen to him.

"After you. I kinda don't know which cafe you're headed to."

Elizabeth nodded, smirking to herself. Good, letting her lead the way was the right answer, and she didn't even need to point it out to him at all. Very good, very good indeed. "Right this way then, sir." Turning on a heel, Elizabeth led the two of them toward the cafe. He seemed like a nice enough guy, could probably get to know him a bit before reaching their destination. Give her more ideas of what to talk about when sitting with him.

"So, Mr. Wilder, what brings you here to academy?"

Amos followed Elizabeth's direction.

"Well, I was sent here because apparently this is the only place that can help me."

He looked off into the distance briefly, as if he was somewhere else. Then he looked back.

"What about you?" He asked, keeping his grin.

They were nearing what appeared to be the cafe they were heading too. It was bound to be an interesting experience, sitting with a cute girl and trying coffee for the first time.

Oh, near their destination. Perfect. As Amos answered the question, she turned her head around to face him. She expected to get question back, but not the answer. Why was this the only place that could help him? Maybe his powers were in a flux and couldn't be controlled very well, or maybe something darker.

"I'm here to learn, obviously. While my magic isn't combat based, I would still like to focus about learning combat strategies and hopefully learn some other magic. However, why did you give me such a vague answer? You can't just say this is the only place to help you and expect me to not ask further into this."

Stopping at the door of the cafe, she opened it up for Amos. At this point, she wasn't expecting to get a real answer back from boy. Or at least not yet, maybe later on if the two of them continued to talk and other activities that are age appropriate with each other.

Amos held the door for Elizabeth, allowing her to enter first. He followed in behind her.

"Wait, wait... did you say magic? Like, wizards and Harry Potter?"

Amos understood that there were people with powers out in the world, people like him, but magic? It wasn't until he asked that realized he had dodged her question.

"How about I tell you all about me once explain your 'Magic'?" he said with finger quotes.
