In truth, Luna never thought she had much to figure. After all, she simply accepted her way of life as it came; things were easy for her like that. Not to mention, it wasn't as though she was an overly complicated person. To live was to excel. That was all there was to it. Tilting her head ever so slightly, she then replied. "I... I never thought of my situation as difficult. If I'm not wrong, humans also remember little from their younger years. I suppose it's something similar to that. Besides, I my memory does not lapse on me now so I have little to complain about."

The girl couldn't blame him for not knowing where to start or not wanting to share. Conversations with a strangers are odd that way; like treading on a fine line whilst shrouded in a fog. One never knows what boundaries there were or how much to share. Thus, the girl simply nodded wordlessly. She let brief silence fell as she treaded through the forest before enquiring:

"Forgive me for asking but you don't look like the type to be from around here, are you?"

He'd chuckle a tiny bit. "And what do people from around here look like?" he'd ask, glancing at her. "Do people have a very specific look that allows you to immediately tell that they indeed were born here?"

They'd finally emerge from the forest. "Am I from around here?" he'd say, "no, I suppose I'm not, but I hear a lot of people currently living here was not born here." He'd flick a small branch from his shoulder.

"So, many of us are from a different place, all that's different is perhaps distance," he'd say with a tiny chuckle, looking up and the darkening sky.

Luna pondered his question for a few silent moments as they idly treaded through the woods. "Well," she began, pushing a stray lock of hair over her shoulder. "Not really, everyone here seems very... diverse. I suppose there was something about you that pegged me as different- Not in a bad way, of course, just different. In an interesting way if you will."

As the last of the forests came to view, the girl rested her gaze on the canopy of buildings shrouding the blade of horizon. She spared a glance at the sky, taking a moment to appreciate the faint lingering amber hues streaked across it before falling back in conversation. "You're right, I guess in this island, all of us could be classified as 'not from around here'." The girl extended a hand, gesturing for a parting shake. "It was nice to meet you, Ryoshi. I suppose I'll see you around eventually?"
