Aseri flew slowly down the hallways, a butterfly at each of her sides. She glanced around slowly, rolling her eyes. She landed, and stretched her arm out in front of her. Her butterflies landed on it.

"Apparently, no one in this building has ever heard of a broom," she said quietly. "Wonder why they stopped using this place..." She continued walking, her footsteps echoing through the halls. The sound made her feel a little nervous... however, she tried to ignore it. She looked around once more, and flapped her wings once to stir up the dust. She sneezed, rolling her eyes at herself for being an idiot. Should have known it would do that, she thought. Aseri glanced down at her butterflies, then returned to looking ahead of her.

"I've often questioned that myself."

Seemingly gliding out of nowhere, Aike's bangs fall back on his face as if suddenly stopping. A tiny breeze followed his mysterious entry, bits of dirt and webbing shifting uncomfortably. Taking in a light breath, he closed his eyes and fell back into himself, bringing back his introverted grace. Dust around his feet settled and the cobwebs replaced themselves in the corners. Pocketing his hand and clearing his throat, he glaced to his left to look at Aseri.

"...Sorry, I couldn't help myself." He gave a small shrug, "Forgive me." Aike turns to face her and holds out his hand. "Aikanor. I've been looking around a bit and I find the lack of used space very... particular. Mind if I join you? I'm looking for something."

Aseri let out a small gasp at the sound of the voice... it had come out of no where! She quickly turned around, about to lash out at him for scaring her like that. But she stopped herself from doing or saying anything she'd possibly regret... but she wasn't happy about what him scaring her, and it showed in her eyes.

She took his hand and shook it. "I'm Aseri..." she mumbled, "and sure, feel free to join me... what are you looking for?" Without waiting for an answer, she turned away from him and continued walking down the hall, not glancing back to see if he was following her.

Hiding another smile at Aseri's suprise, he pocketed his hand and sauntered after her. Between the swishing of his jeans and the interuptions of the sudden appearence of the fire sprites, he tried explaining himself.

"Well, it-"

Woo! I won the bet!

...You mention that again, and I'll get after you next time.

Clearing his throat and brushing a renegade piece of hair out of his eye, Aike tries continueing,"I've been in-"

Not as long as I'm around you won't.

Muttering under it's "breath," That's what you think...

Aike sighs. "An investigation."

And it's boring as heck!

Ha ha ha.

Heh heh heh. It's truuuuuuuuuue!

Aike glances elsewhere, obviously annoyed. "Yeah... It is. <_< "

Aseri turned back around to face him, an eyebrow raised. "What? An investigation?" She covered her mouth and coughed, trying to hide the laughter that was about to escape her. She continued coughing until she was sure she wasn't going to laugh.

"An investigation... sounds... interesting... an investigation of what, may I ask?" She pulled a piece of her pink hair behind her ear and crossed her arms over her chest, waiting for his reply.

Clearing his throat and puffing more hair from tickling his nose, he stared at her blankly before beginning. "I'm sure this amuses you,-"

Cause you know it does us! Kekekekeke!

Aike smacks his face with his hand. "Ever wonder why half the school is abandonned? What about all the dangers? Why the heck would someone make a school in the ghetto end of nowhere?"

Ghetto end of my butt! Kekeke...

...

...I'll stop...

Aike glances down at the flame, "Thank you." Looking back at Aseri, he continues, "Besides, I think something's up with... well, nevermind." He nods tward the butterflies. "What kind of powers do you have?"

"Well, I haven't had much time to wonder about those things... I only got here about a week ago, and I haven't done much exploring... however..." Aseri sighed, and didn't finish her sentence.

"I don't have the most spectacular powers... I can fly and transform into a crow, nothing special. These butterflies here are my pets. What are your powers?"

"I've been here for about the same length of time, but I've been watching people.... Judas and his brother for example. Something serious is going to happen when those two find each other, and I think Judas will most likely win."

"Fire. Creation and destruction of my own magics. And... some other things. The three annoying fire spirits... well, I don't know what they are or where the came from, and I don't know if they have names.... I don't want to name them either, because that claims a sort of ownership, or atleast recognizing their existance..."

Aike sighs.

"Judas and his brother? Hm... haven't met either of them... but I'll keep an eye out for them..." Aseri said, and looked at the fire sprites. She hadn't noticed them before, and she felt a bit embarrassing for only now seeing them. However, this embarrassment didn't show on her face.

"I see... fire sounds like a fun power to have... very fun indeed. I guess the sprites are just something you're going to have to put up with and try to ignore, hard as that may be."

Aike chuckles under his breath, "Yeah... It's fun from time to time." He glances around out of habit, wondering where the flames have gone off to. "I'm still wondering what they are.... Shall we walk?" He holds out an arm.
