High Impact Interview Action (Claire)

Rushing as fast as she could go, Kiyana ran to the building she had gone into a few times, as a customer. To think she could actually be a part of their club made her ecstatic. She was late, of course, as she had the great plan to stay after classes to talk to her teacher about how to speak when your face as to be away from the audience. Theater stuff, though that small talk had made her delayed. "Ugh, seriously?" She said to herself as she finally reached the building. Taking a deep breath in and out, she pushed the door open, looking around the room before focusing her eyes on a girl. "Morgan?" She said with a bright smile. "I wasn't expecting you to be the one to be the one to interview me!" Kiyana jumped up a down for a few seconds, she sat down across from the girl. "Alright!" She nodded, looking intently at Morgan.

Kiyana smiled brightly at her friend, as she had been meaning to get together with her once again. "That's so cool." She nodded at Morgan, as she was rather happy to think that her friend has such an important job. As she realized that she did not want to give Morgan any trouble if she was not worthy for the job, Kiyana hid her grin. "Yes, of course."

Racking her brain for a good answer, she had never thought to list out the reasons as to why she was a good cook. "My credentials..." She said weakly, putting her hands in front of her, fidgeting them nervously. "I cooked for my family all through junior high and high school." She confirms her statement with a nod. "I have also been cooking for myself, ever since I have arrived at Starlight." With the exception of a few times, she had been the main cook in her life. "Also, the fact that I can manipulate fruits and vegetables, as well as with this, if people eat something with either of those things, it makes them feel slightly better and happier." Though she as unsure if her at home experience would make the cut, she hoped that her friend would see that her gift would be put to good use.

"Oh um..." She said weakly, not really knowing how to explain her odd powers. "I guess you could say that I can move them about. Sadly, I can't chop them in the air but, the food does taste a lot better." She was trying to think of good ways to say how her powers worked, but she sounded more like she was making it up. "I guess I never really thought about it!" She said with a light smile. "I guess it speeds up my cooking time as I can just levitate the food over to me."
