She'd smile, watching as the tiny girl messed with the smartwatch, given the girl's size she couldn't help but worry about her. "Wanna ride on my shoulder?" she'd offer, taking a knee as she talked to her. "If not you can fly behind me," sbe didn't really want the tiny girl to walk, was afraid someone might step on her.

Either way, Shiro would start leading her down the hall. "So is your mom as tiny as you?" she'd ask with a giggle. "You're like a cute little unicorn fairy," she'd seen tiny pixies and fairies before but none quite like her.

They'd arrive at her dorm, she'd enter, letting the tiny girl in if she'd flown. "Make yourself at home hon," she'd quickly send her dorm parent a text. "So, I'm guessing you like fantasy stories?"

Flutterpip accepted the generous offer, "Yes, thank you."

Although she liked flying, she has never turned down a chance to ride and rest her wings (flying is not as easy as butterflies show it). Flying over to Shiro's right shoulder, she sat down. But, before she sat down, she flared her horn, and a little seat formed on and attached to Shiro's shoulder. After she sat down, Shiro might hear a weak click of one small seatbelt (having been blown off Naisis's shoulders before).

She giggled when Shiro asked if her mom was tiny, "no. She is as big as you." She looked down to the floor, "maybe a little shorter. We walk on our tippy-toes," she raised her skirt, showing her tiny hooves.

She was ginning at the complement until Shiro mentioned fairy. Her grin turned into a frown as she folded her arms and said, "fairies! humph!"

Fortunately, her sour mood did no last long. Reaching Shiro place she was delighted that it was like theirs, well, after Naisis fixed it up. She was about to fly around to look over the place when she was reminded she was still in her riding seat. With a flair of her horn that was dispatched.

Looking around she oohed and awed, "this is like my place."

After seeing all the band posters, she added, "You like music? I like music too!"

Then she noticed all the balls of yarn, puzzled she asked, "do you like to knit?"

"I like all kinds of stories as long as there are a lot of pictures. I am not too good with words, but I'm getting better."

"Not a fan of fairies?" she'd ask curiously as they entered, watching as the tiny girl zipped around. "Yes I like music," she'd giggle, "and I knit." Stepping to her nightstand she'd produce a winter cap from a drawer, "it's fun and kinda calmimg."

"I could maybe try knitting something for you," she'd tilt her head, "though I've never knitted something for someone so small." She could make a blanket easily enough, but clothes would be more challenging.

The girl would hum in thought. "A simple game then....or we could put on a funny show," hopefully the girl will give up her plan to run away from home.

Fan? Oh, Fan! Not the one you cool yourself off with, but when someone that thinks you're cool. Here she has learned words do not always mean what you think they mean.

"No! They were mean to me. Especially the little ones - they were the meanest! Playing pranks on me."

When Shiro showed her the cap, she looked it over, "oh, nice. Does it get that cold here?"

Flutterpip giggled at Shiro's comment of her being so small, "I know. They could not find a uniform small enough. Mom had to go to a doll shop to find clothes for me here."

While Shiro was debating whether to play a simple game of play a funny movie, Flutterpip piped up excitedly, "Oh, game, please? Mom will not buy one - she's cheep - well - that and she hates teck...tech...tech-nolo-gy (she had a hard time with that word). She treats her phone thingie like it was a dead skunk."

"Awwwww that wasn't very nice of them," she'd say with a hum. "Well, hopefully you meet some nice fairies here, ones that will be your friend." Though the fae aren't exactly known for being friendly, at least by most standards.

She'd nod. "The winters get very cold here, you'll need winter clothes, especially if you're gonna be flying around." The girl would look her over. "I'm gonna try and make you a sweater, if that fails then a blanket."

Shiro would giggle at the dead skunk comment. "Ok, the controllers of my switch are to big for you," she'd pull her phone out, "but I have games on here." She'd get the phone leaned up against something on the coffee table to keep it from falling. "You can just use your hands," she'd put on fruit ninja, showing her how to play. "Simple and fun," she'd say with a smile.

Flutterpip smiled, "I hope so. It is nice to have friends my size."

She formed a big 'O' with her mouth, "I will have to tell mom to get me some winter clothes," she became very somber, "if she is still there."

When Shiro mentioned the size of the controllers, she smiled; that would not be a problem since she could become taller. But, the game on the phone was just her size. She watched as Shiro showed her how to do it. It looked so easy, until, she tried and got her butt kicked. She hunkered down and got serious. Sticking the tip of her tongue stuck out the side of her mouth (something she did when she got really serious about something), she continued to play the game. Soon she was doing the butt-kicking.

"This is fun! Do you have others?"

Shiro would take a seat, watching as the tiny girl played the game, grabbing one of her unfinished projects she'd start to knit. "Learn fast don't you?" she'd say with a giggle. "You're already better than me," she'd say with a smile. "Maybe you have a secret talent in video games."

"Yeah lots," she'd say with a hum. "How about a puzzle game?" gently taking the phone she'd switch it to a puzzle game before setting it back down. "Let's see how you do with that?"

She'd lean back, continuing to knit. "So have you started school yet?" she'd ask, "hope they're not to boring."

Flutterpip smiled at the thought of having a hidden talent. Maybe this time her mom might get her a videogame.

The game looked easy. All you had to do was line up three or more gems in a column or row, and they would disappear with others falling. At first, it was easy. She had a few lucky moves that caused a chain reaction. But as games go, this one was getting harder, and as Flutterpip does, she was getting frustrated. Even doubling down did not help. Soon she was at a stalemate.

Sitting down with her arms folded and glaring at the game, she muttered, "dumb game!"

She watched Shiro knitting. She looked so relaxed and it even looked fun. Flutter could make almost any small thing with her magic, but to make something with her hands intrigued her.

Ignoring the annoying game she looked around for some of those needles and a ball of yarn while answering Shiro, "Ya, reading, writing, spelling, math, and art. I like the art class, but the other four..." she wrinkled her node, "Boring! especially math." She chuckled, "mom was surprised when she found out she had to take some classes too. The same as me but the art class was changed to a parenting class. She needed that one."

Finding a ball of yarn, she chewed on the end. But, she could not find any of those needles. Flying up to Shiro she asked an odd question, "can I chew on one of those metal thingies?"

She'd giggle. "Reading is fun though," she'd tilt her head, "find the right books and you'll have a great story to read." She made a mental note to get the tiny girl some story books to read, one with adventures and such.

The cat girl would watch as Flutter chewed on some yarn, blinking in surprise when she asked to chew on the needles. "Why do you want to chew one them?" she'd ask, "I doubt they'd taste very good and they'd probably hurt your tiny teeth."

The cat girl would hold up one of the needles. "They certainly don't look very tasty," she'd say with a giggle.

Flutterpip eyes Shiro suspiciously, reading - fun? How can reading be fun? They were just a bunch of words.

Flutterpip giggled in return, "I do not have to eat them, just taste them. At first, I thought I had to eat it to be able to use it, later I learned all I had to do is to taste it."

She flew up to the pointy end and gnawed on it a little. Satisfied she got the taste of it, she flew down to the table and flared her horn. In her right hand, a pair of those needles appeared (although they were the size of sewing needles) and in the other a ball of yarn (resembling thread).

Looking up to Shiro excitedly (her wings were fluttering enough she almost took off), "Now what do I do?"
