"Impressing is the only way that I know how to get someone to like me truly. Otherwise it's just me pushing up against them with my feelings." Auden made sure to keep eye contact with Scott as he walked. "I can get really... Unsure of myself too. I don't know how to be a good boyfriend for anyone, so I guess being forward and persistent is what I try." Auden started to move closer before moving the opposite way a few paces. "So.. If-" he flushed a bit, as he realized the difference between acting on his feelings and acting out. "Are you saying that you'd like to try with me, or am I reading you wrong?"

There was nothing that Scott could say in response to that question that could be a genuine answer. Well, there was - but none that Scott could feel like he was being genuine about. He was not sure of his own feelings so how was he able to confirm other information for anyone else? He couldn't do it for himself. Being a good boyfriend was the least of Scott's concerns as of right then, let alone having a good boyfriend.

"I'm sure you're a a better boyfriend than you actually believe. Don't worry about it." Scott reassured as he went on with his walk. His gaze was constantly forward, almost avoiding Auden even in his peripheral vision for the most part. Knowing just from the past question, Scott figured he should actually answer this one question as well. "We'll see about it, alright?" A noncommittal answer but still a dangerous one.

"Yeah, i know you'er right about that." He was an OK one if he was truly honest, but it was better than what he could have been like. Abusive, violent or selfish even; that was a scary path to go down. Now Auden did like to fight, but that didn't mean that he would ever rough up one of his lovers or interests. "I try my best." He set his gaze forward too, as he realized that Scott had no interest at looking at him.

"Ok." Was all he could say as his fists tightened in his grip. What was this feeling? "I was just offering but I know that I'm not ideal. O'm just some younger dude that wants to get into your pants, right?" He hated this, because Scott seemed like someone that would be fun to date, that'd he'd enjoy spending time with. "I'm bad at this shit, I'm stupid. I don't- just fuck this." Auden almost growled out as he turned to the right and started on his own path.

There were so many things that Scott could have said in that moment. A million things to make Auden stay and maybe actually get them to go out on a real date since the longest time they had actually spent together was them walking to the school from the docs. As he watched the Raven Mocker turn away, he found his voice dying in his throat as a lump took its place.

The son of Envy just watched as Auden walked away, feeling like he had to memorize the outline. "I'm a fucking idiot." Scott muttered to himself, his head moving from watching his companion to staring at his shoes. Well. With a weight in his chest and in his mind, Scott slowly began his path back towards his dorm room. Maybe he can find the Raven Mocker again once he has an answer.

He couldn't given Auden one until he had one for himself. Were his emotions real, or were they the same as back when he was in his aliases? Taking a breath, Scott shook his head, more so at himself than at the other.

Good, it was sooooo good that Scott hadn't followed him. There was no feeling as he walked away that he even cared about him, really. Scott was just some guy that didn't know his feelings from his attraction, or something like that. Auden's fists clenched before releasing with a deep sigh as he stormed forward. That would be the end of it, right? The weird eared boy hadn't come after him like in all the movies, so that would have to be it. He shook his head, as if to get every thought of him out of it. It wasn't that his heart was hurting, it just stung a little. Had to have been the punches, yeah.
