He's going whether he likes it or not! :P

October wandered out to the forest, letting out a yawn. She wasn't tired, though, she was just plain bored. She had been thinking about the Valentine's Day Hoedown, and figured that she was going to be going alone. Well, actually, if she didn't have a date, what was the point in even going? No point at all... she thought to herself.

She wondered if she should ask Tsim to go, seeing as how she did like him, but she doubted she had enough confidence to ask him. She didn't want to ruin a freindship, after all, since he was pretty much the only person here that she considered a friend besides Dani and Andrew... but they didn't really count, seeing as how they were family now.

Oh, well. She would just ask him to go as a friend, or ask him if they could just hang out that day. Now all she had to do was find him.

At that moment, the thirteen-year-old looked up, and of course, Tsim was sitting right there in the tree. Oh, how absolutely lovely. Right when she needed time to think of how she should ask him, he pops up right out of the blue. Now wasn't this just spectacular...

"Hi, Tsim," October said, smiling just a tiny bit. She had to act like nothing was bothering her, and so far, she was succeeding.

October watched as he climbed down from the tree, silent. She scratched the back of her head, and bit the inside of her lip, thinking of what she should say. She decided she just had to ask him. "Hey, did you hear about the Valentine's Day Hoedown?" she asked him. That seemed like the most casual way to bring it up.

October nodded. For a moment, she felt like just leaving it at that and not saying anything more about it, and began to play around with her fingers nervously. "I see... um..." Wow, this was harder to say than she thought it would have been. She bit her lip, then decided to just say it. "Would you... possibly consider going with me? As friends, of course..."

October nodded, making sure to keep that bright look on her face so she could hide the fact that she was a little bit upset he didn't want to go to the dance with her. Maybe he just didn't like dancing... at least, she hoped that he didn't. If it was her, well, then she pretty much had no chance.

"Well, maybe we can hang out when it's going on, then?" she asked.
