"It's the urban store. A few stores away from this one." He nodded, liking the idea of making the poor man get all worried. "Let us go." He reached over and grabbed her hand, unconsciously pulling Eliana out of the store with him. As they reached the store that he usually went to, he looked down, looking go of her hand, a bit flushed in the face.
"Come on." He said nervously, feeling stupid for his actions. He stormed into the place, the lady at the front smiled at him. "Welcome Monochrome sweetie." Of course, he was a regular, so him being in the store made most of the staff happy. "Who is this lovely girl? Your girlfriend?" Hannah asked with a smirk.

"E-Excuse me?" He shouted at Hannah. "Haven't I told you I don't sw-" He stopped himself, not wanting his loud words to spread like wildfire. He rubbed his temples, in pain that someone he knew rather well would think that of him. "My new roommate or something. My new bank account." He finished off, looking up at the women with a menacing glare. "We are here for clothes, not small talk." He added on, walking further into the store, where his usual selection was.
Hannah didn't speak another word, as she whispered to another, younger girl, who rushed over to them both. "I-If you need anything I'll be happ-" She was cut off. "I know what I'm getting girl, get." He shooed her away, still angry about how he had entered the store.
He turned to Eliana and held up a navy blue t-shirt. It had black ends, on the arms, the body and the neck holes. "Something kind of like this, though they have better selection in the winter. I like sweaters and hoodies." He pointed out, putting the shirt back and opting for a light gray zip up sweater.

"Also, have you always been this bratty? I'm asking for a friend." A jest. She was totally teasing him, and that was evident by her shit-eating grin. Terrible, this woman.
"Like I would tell you." He didn't want to say, though maybe due to her powers she alright knew. "I wouldn't be with someone like you." He said as plain as he could, not wanting to imply anything. Not here. "You may as well just touch me and figure it out, but maybe that would be too easy." He smirked up at her, snarling as he put the gray piece of clothing down.
"No, I really haven't." That was something he could tell her straight up about. He really hadn't been like this forever. At the start he was happy and in love and all the things you could possibly feel. He had ran away with someone he barely knew. Those were the good times. "My past is like a maze. There are parts were I changed my attitude. Right now I like this one. It gets me what I want."

She hated kid stores. This was making her want to shop for herself and her lovers. How she got from kid store to lovers was a good question, but honestly, would anyone be surprised?
"I never implied that I would want someone like you either." He said, a bit muffled as he turned his back to her. He picked out a few things, things that he knew he would wear, throwing them at Eliana like she was a clothes rack.
He soon got bored of the store, feeling that their selection was like his mood. Unappealing. "Okay I'm done." He motioned to the cash register, seeing that there was yet another, different girl waiting for them. "H-Hannah said to give you 35% off for what she said." The girl quivered. "Make it 50% and then maybe I'll come back." He said, leaning over the desk with his small body. "And she better not question my sexuality and dating choices again. She should know by now what I like, or have liked since the new year."
Yes, his interests and attractions changed like the seasons. Some days he liked muscular girls, others little boys like him. Though the feeling was usually unrequited, as the thrill of a little boy oogling over older, or out of his league people wasn't everyone's fantasy. Due to that, he kept to himself. No one needed to know what he dreamed of, things that most people would shun him for. Stupid body.

"Hey, lady," she said to the cashier, catching her attention. "I'll pay extra for this kids fuckin' attitude. Sorry, I didn't let him take his nap today. Teach me, right?"
She gave Monochrome a look. One that suggested he would sorely regret trying to outdo her right then. With that, she slapped a large wad of money on the counter, smiled at the woman, and winked. "Don't worry. He'll come back anyway. Only clothing store he likes."
She was about to walk off, but she stopped. "Also, yeah, he's just pissed because he's into me, but I don't do little boys if you know what I mean."
Oh, she had gone over the line. He had outdone her. As she started talking to the lady, he snarled lowly to himself. She was testing him, or something of that sort. Of course, napping was for actual children, not the hybrid that he was. That statement was false and of course she knew it. That had to be it. He stayed quiet though, keeping his insults and retorts to himself. She wasn't going to break him. He was stronger than she knew.
The girl stuttered a bit as the amount of clothes as over what the clothes costed. She wasn't sure what to think. She took it up, not wanting to have it stolen back. "Y-Yes." She bowed a bit.
Monochrome widened his eyes at the last statement though. Something that was false. Though, in that moment, he didn't feel an urge to punch her or say something. Rather, he laughed. He laughed loud and horribly. He wipped his eyes afterwards, calming himself. "You're funny. Too funny." He looked up at her, but this time with a smile. "You're not the only one that doesn't like little boys."
