Hal let out a small chuckle. A rather soft and carefree chuckle — something that was probably unexpected given how he had been acting rather egotistically in the past few minutes. There was a calm smile on his face, partly amused at how Wind fumbled for something to clean up her little mishap, and partly because of nostalgia.
"We have our own nervous ticks." He tells her coolly. "I mean really, someone could have had it worse. You can freeze the whole door and no one would exactly eat you up for it." His first days on the island weren't any better, he admitted to himself. Those days were mostly spent trying not to get caught — at one point, he had been so stressed from everything that nearly all the lighting in a nearby building just went out and almost all the electronics in sight stopped working. Thankfully, there weren't much people around when that happened and truthfully, he doesn't want anyone to know about that specific incident or it could spell trouble.
Hal knelt down next to her and lent her a hand with cleaning up the puddle as he continued: "To be honest, during the first day of classes for me, I literally collapsed. I found out my body went out of sync with my mind from over-thinking, so I pretty much passed out in front of the whole class."
