Claire was so tired of extremely happy people at this school, she was sick of it. She hated that everyone had an ability, that may or may not be better then hers.

She liked it more when she was in the woods, with nature and animals, feeling at home a free. She had only really mad one friend, her roommate, though she knew nothing about her.

She sighed, all she wanted was someone, anyone who was like her. Not powers wise, but someone that maybe didn't like everyone, or someone that wasn't always happy. She was thinking none stop about everything.

She just want someone the react out to her, to feel what she was feeling, and help. In whatever way that they could.

Not too far away from Claire was Alice Mordrake, or rather her body, which now lay listlessly in a tree in the courtyard as if it where sleeping, most likely placed there by the new Naruto manga laying open on her chest, which despite being an overall good series in the young girl's mind suffered from what she dubbed "Kishi's decay as a writer." However, while Alice's body lay lifeless, her true self was off causing havoc in the minds of some students. She had gotten quite bored with the day, classes being 98% stuff she already knew and 2% stuff she could care less about knowing as usual. So after class ended she decided to have a little "fun" with some of the students around school, placing her mindless shell in a spot few people would look...after all, who knows what kind of perverts lurk the halls of Starlight!

"These people are so BORING!!!" Alice yelled in a fit of energetic and bratty rage while inside the mind of one student. "God..I make these two angry at each other and all they do is scratch themselves up a bit! I thought these where some of the most 'aggressive' kids in school! I should have turned up their anger instead of just hoping they had enough natural rage to make this fun...Oh well...there are plenty of other minds around!" Alice continued to say in the mental realm, pouting like a spoiled little girl about the whole thing.

In the outside world, the kids she had just "victimized" both where laying unconscious, one of them bloody, battered and covered in clawmarks while the other, still in his wolf form, had a series of nasty burns from what looked like fire attacks. Both where quite injured. While nobody except Alice witnessed the fight due to it being so late at night, but the students would be fine. Alice's disappointment was a testament to that, she fully expected to see these two slaughter each other due to their "infamous" aggression, yet their wounds, while they looked nasty, where nowhere near enough to kill them.

Returning to her body, she woke up in the tree only to hear the noise of a person below her. This could be interesting.. She thought to herself as she attempted to mind hack the new arrival.

First step of hacking a mind: breaking through mental defenses. This was easier said then done. This girl, after all, had a very strong mind, and upon making mental contact Alice feared the worst. However, using all of her will she forced herself in. "Hard part over! Now...lets see what this one is thinking.." Alice said as she scrolled through Claire's current thoughts. Ooo...what a troubled little girl. She looks like such easy prey! Alice thought to herself while reading Claire's current frame of mind. Letting out a twisted giggle she delved into Claire's memories, taking a look at all of her past troubles. Her home life, running away, living with wolves. All was on display for the twisted Mordrake girl, and she knew what she had to do.

This one will be more useful then I thought...she has darkness in her heart. Darkness that can be expanded...used. I could make her mine right now, but there's no fun in that! No....this Clarie, she's a new game...and one I will win without 'cheating!' Alice thought to herself after viewing Clarie's memories. Before leaving Claire's mind, Alice erased all traces of her presence from it, doing away with all the memories of her "invasion" into Claire's mind making it as if the whole thing never happened to the girl. With that, Alice returned to her body and once again became conscious. Not wanting to seem suspicious, she once again pretended to be asleep but positioned herself in a way that would make her slowly slide off the tree, making her entire entrance seem like an "accident."

Putting up her trustworthy aura, the stage was set. Slowly but surely, she slid off the tree and as she did "awoke" with a loud scream as she fell to the grassy ground with a "thud." pulling herself up, she brushed herself off and then "noticed" Claire sitting there.

"Oh my god, I'm SO sorry! I didn't mean to scare you or anything! Heck, I didn't even know you where there! I climbed up in that tree so I could be all alone and just kinda fell asleep and since I move in my sleep I..well...yeah..." Alice said in her usual fast and energetic tone to Clarie

"I'm Alice, by the way, Alice Mordrake! I'm sorry if I'm a little hyper...that's just how I am. Now, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but you look a little upset. Is there anything I can do to help? Maybe just talk a little? Despite my...energy level...I know what it's like to deal with lots of crap, so maybe this chance meeting was more then just luck..." Alice said to Claire, her tone more calm then before. Of course, while all this was being said Alice had been using her aura of trustworthiness to attempt to make Claire more "open" to her influence. Now all she had to do was wait and see her response.

Scared? Claire was never scared, well most of the time she wasn't. "No, you didn't scare me, I didn't even really notice you. I was thinking about things I guess. Things that I want to achieve while I am here."

Claire was shocked at the girl. This all didn't seem real to her, it seemed as if something was forcing her to talk to Alice.

She was trying to fight it, but, what was she fighting exactly? Was it just her imagination? It probably was, she had a very interesting imagination.

"I'm Claire Deyan." She looked up at Alice. 'She was pretty, I wonder if...' she trailed off, embarrassed that she would even think of that at this moment."Yeah, I'm okay, just okay. I'm new here so, it's different from where I was before I guess."

"How about you, how are you?" She shook her head trying to clear it, but all she could think about was Alice. It was strange, she had never had this before.

Heh, it looks like my special little aura is working just as I hoped....and things she wants to achieve? Perhaps this game will be more fruitful then I first imagined. Alice thought to herself as Clarie responded. She took a seat in the grass near Clarie and continued to talk.

"Me? Well, I'm ok I guess, considering I just took a longer nap then I expected. I'm pretty new around here too. I'm a freshmen, actually...we kinda look around the same age now that I think of it. Anyway, you mentioned wanting to achieve something...would it be rude to ask what it is? I have a lot of power so could be able to help you achieve that goal, whatever it is." Alice continued to Clarie, her aura still in effect.

"Why not?" Claire had no idea what she was doing, telling her personal things to some person she literally just met. Though, she also didn't care what others thought of her.

"Here it is." She grabbed her notebook out of her pocket and opened in up. On the first page, there were numbered things that she wanted to do.

1.Have your first kiss
2.Give a GF/BF
3.Make friends like her
4.Advance her powers
5.Learn how to fight
6.Experience new things

Alice eyed the notebook and was quite shocked at the mundane nature of Claire's goals. How pedestrian. Heh. No matter...I think it's time for a change in subject! Alice thought to herself as she looked over the list. "Those are all great goals, Claire! Sadly, my powers won't do any of those things for you. I mean...I could make people your friends if you really wanted, but that wouldn't be true friendship now would it?" Alice replied to Claire after looking at the list

"You know, all those goals remind me how awesome it is to have a school like this. If we where all at a normal high school, we wouldn't be able to have regular goals like that. Regular humans don't like people like us and out there we'd be fighting for out lives, not for love. But whatever, I don't really worry about things like that. That reminds me, I'd like to know...what do you think of normal humans?" Alice asked Claire. Of course, as usual, her trustworthy aura was up for the whole conversation

"Thanks but i guess I will have to do those on my own, but thanks." She smirked and the ground. "I hate them. They could all die." She grinned a bit at the thought. "What a world that would be better." She sighed then looked up at the girl. "I never liked them, all they caused was bad things for me." She frowned a bit. "Why do you ask? DO you hate them too? Or was it just a random question?" Claire felted so safe around this girl, as if they were sisters, or best friends, but they weren't. She shook her head to try to get rid of the feeling, but it was still there.

Just as my mind hack showed me. This game is SOOOOOO easy! Alice thought to herself as Claire spoke about her opinions on humans. In her twisted mind Alice all but imagined what uses she would have for the girl. She could use her for so much fun on school grounds. What a good soldier she would be, strong, so full of darkness and most of all easy to manipulate. Alice tried to stop herself from giggling in twisted glee as she pondered the possibilities. After Claire was done speaking, Alice sat down beside her. "Well, if I'm gonna tell you why I asked that I may as well get comfortable, it's a bit of a...story." Alice said as she leaned herself up against the tree, her arms folded behind her head.

"I don't really like most normal humans. You see to me, they are nothing more then beasts, the whole lot of them. When left without proper guidance the'll eat one another alive for money or fame. They are weak-willed and weak-minded, and go wherever the most outspoken, charismatic , famous or wealthy among them tell them to. Most of all...the're ignorant about everything. They don't see how things really work and don't understand people like you and me. The only language they understand is fear, and because they fear people like us they treat us like crap. They are cruel and simple-minded, Claire, and that's why places like this exist. Their world is hostile to us because of their ignorance and fear. Things can change, though." Alice started explaining from her relaxed position, her trust-aura still active.

Despite all their flaws, when they are directed by somebody with vision, somebody strong and powerful, they can do amazing things. When broken from the sleep of Ignorance, man goes to the moon. What mankind needs to change and become better is leaders who know best for them. What they need is strong individuals to rule them and keep their fearful, ignorant, animal-like ways under a firm, iron fist. What mankind needs is us, Claire. They need people like us who have amazing abilities to lead...no...rule them. If you despise them as much as you say, I can give you the chance to get back at them....to have revenge for everything the've done to you. I can give you the chance to help me enslave them all and create a world where people like us control everything..." Alice continued to say, her tone becoming more serious. After finishing her monologue she sat up and continued to speak, her aura still active.

"Now, yeah, I know, that seems pretty crazy coming from a girl like me but I'm a lot farther along then you'd think. I already have an entire organization of like-minded people who all want the same thing. You seem to be the kind of girl who would be interested in my little game....so what do you say would you care to join me in making a new world? Alice asked to Claire as she extended her hand as if to offer a handshake, her aura still active.

Wow Claire was confused at the end of her talking. There was so many questions she had. She wanted to ask them all, to know more, to know if she could trust this ever so friendly girl. She felt as if she could though, as if there was something stopping her from asking. She tried to fight it but that didn't work. She shook her head, closed her eyes, and tried to get rid of the fuzzy feeling that was engulfing her mind. She wanted it out of her mind, she wanted time to think about what the girl had said, but she couldn't. It felt as if she had to make a choice, as soon as possible.

This girl was right though, she didn't really like humans all that much. Yeah, there were a few that she had began to like, but she knew that it wouldn't last. She knew something had to change that. She liked not liking anyone. She nodded Alice and shook her hand. "I would love to." She smirked at her, almost feeling more powerful with this girl already. She was excited for what was to come, even if she changed, at least it would be an experience she wouldn't forget. She girl was right, she was almost perfect, for her perspective on the world, and what it could become.

As soon as Claire grabbed Alice's hand she couldn't help but squeel loudly in excitement and bounce happily in her seated position. "Yes! Yes! Yeesss!!" I'm so glad to gave you Claire-chan! You don't mind if I call you that right? All my friends get an honorfic so now that you've joined my little game I think you deserve one! Now what should we do first...lets see...." Alice said in the happy, fast-paced tone so characteristic of her outward self. "Oh! I know!" she said quickly after pausing for only a brief moment between statements. "We should exchange phone numbers so we'll always be in touch! That way, if I need you to do some work for me I can contact you!" Alice continued. She pulled what appeared to be a golden Iphone out of the small pocket on her skirt and thumbed through it quickly. "Can I get your number first, Claire-chan?" Alice asked.
