Well, I must say I haven't done this in a long time (introducing myself on forums). I've been part of several of them, but they kinda-sort of-died after some time. So, some basic info:

1. I love Rp, and I've been rp-ing for two or three years now, although this will be first time I'm doing it in English (I'll still try my best though :P)

2. I love books, reading them and collecting them (of sorts)

3. I love writing, too

4. I'm addicted to anime/manga (Bleach being the newest addiction)

5. I'm 17.

Hello! :D I'm DR!

Oh my goodness, I share all of your interests! I've been RPing for around 7 years, and I started on this board, so it's easy to get into. I'm currently reading the Game of Thrones series by George R. R. Martin. They're really good, but huuuuuuge.

I just finished watching the first "season" of Sword Art Online. It was really good, and it's kinda getting me back into anime!

Anyway, I'll hush and welcome you! I'll be creeping around here and there and will definitely be around Thursday, so I hope to bump into you a few times!

I'm a bit younger rp-er, since I'm only 17, but I still love it as much, and take every chance I get to play.
I tried reading the Game of Thrones but it turned out to be a bit much for me. Epic fantasy, and fantasy in general are still my favourite genres of books though.

I also watched SAO, and liked it, though it was a bit slow. I loved the idea, and animation isn't bad either. :D My favourite anime are Bleach and FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood at the moment :D

It is based on the warring states period of China, but it isn't what I would recommend to someone trying to learn Chinese history. It is very much an action packed shounen anime. It doesn't have any supernatural things, although some characters are unreasonably strong.

As a warning, you may have to get past the first few episodes because at first they tried to do this terrible 3D animation style and it was awful. It gets much better later, though.
