Scott could feel the gaze on him, glancing back to the other. "I'd ask if you see something you like but I already know that you do." Mused the demon, "What's keeping your gaze on me, sweetheart? The city's just as pretty."

Tugging a little harder on his luggage as it got caught in a crack in the concrete, Scott scoffed slightly at his companions musings of their behavior in school. He knew a kid back in one of his high schools - read in class, refused to do homework but aced tests. That kid was honestly his favorite just because he loved watching the teachers get pissed.

"If I'm what you consider old, you're going to have a bad time next year." Smirked the envy demon, following his guide towards the Academy. "Aww. You say that as if we can't. I doubt they'll separate the grades in a locker room, honestly." Briefly he wondered if they separated people by gender in this school since mythical creatures were anything and everything and nothing in terms of gender.

"I've seen the city enough, it's not fresh anymore. You though, you're new and beautiful, frankly." He wasn't always a flatterer, but he tried to make every compliment he gave mean something; even if the meaning was only for him. "Why wouldn't I stare?" He looked around the city once, before finding it bleek and fixating back to where he had been. "It was a joke. I think your age is nice, it suits you." With a nod the ravenmocker got a bit closer, so that their shoulders would touch whenever they moved. "I never really focused on it until now." He was surprised he didn't know. "Either way I'll find a way, I suppose." Out of honesty, Auden nuzzled Scott's cheek with his own.

"Thank you." Scott smiled. A genuine smile instead of the half-smiles and smirks he seemed to give. When presented with the argument of the dull city, there was not much of a protest. This entire island was brand new to the shifter so it was not unusual for him to be all excited in comparison to someone who had been there for a long time. It would probably wear out eventually s Scott spent his time here.

Snickering at his companions behavior, Scott reached up and gently petted his guide's hair. "You'll still have to earn that kiss though." Teased Scott. Oh man, if Auden had to earn a kiss imagine what he would have to do to earn an actual make out session. "Is the school at least enjoyable otherwise? I mean, the classes can be shit but that doesn't necessarily mean the school itself is bad."

There were some pretty nice campuses that Scott had visited that had some pretty awful people or courses in them. A lot of the time it was because the class had a substitute and classes liked to harrass them, but the school itself was fine.

"Course." He wasn't lying either, which made this compliment seem extra nice to him. "I like to give praise where it is needed." Though, he wasn't all that sure about having to earn a kiss. He supposed it made sense considering that they had just met. Even now, they were close as if they had been friends for ages. Perhaps in a past life. "And I will, just you wait." He was determined to get a kiss. "The campus is nice yeah. Classes are good, teachers are real nice, some of them are really hot too actually." He batted his eyes innocently at Scott. "I'll point out the ones that tickle my fancy for you."

Scott hummed in reply to that as he had nothing of value to actually speak out for. IT was a wonder how comfortable the two of them became so quickly. Perhaps it was because the two were so similar in personality - both flirty nerds who seemed to be troublemakers. There was a chuckle at how Auden seemed so determined to get a kiss from the envy demon - it was cute, really. Endearing.

"Oh. We've known each other for an hour and you're already cheating on me? I'm heartbroken." He removed his hand away from the other, placing it over his heart in mock pain. "As good looking as some adults can be, flirting with teacher's isn't something I'm into." The young man confessed. As much as he hated school, he really would rather not go through the deans office...He did actually want a degree so school was important.

"I assume the classes aren't hard if you can ditch for weeks and come back to pass the tests." Most of the classes he went to in the other schools weren't hard but then again he tried not to ditch. It was easier to spread his sin via aura when he was actually around students. School offered almost completely unfiltered access to students.

"I'm poly, just so you know." He smirked, thinking that it was cute how he had so coyly pulled his hand away. "But I'm mostly joking, not like I would try to tap that. Too many issues there. I more so admire beauty on all forms." Auden nodded as he reached over and grabbed his hand again, kissing it gently before Scott had free reign again. "Don't worry though, that doesn't mean I just hit on everyone." To the other topic, he giggled. "Not all of them are hard, but even after a while I couldn't skip as much as I wanted to. They want you to be able to succeed and feel welcome."

It was unclear if the expression on Scott's face was amusement or shock from how easily the other said this little fact. "That's fine." Was all he replied. Being poly was certainly not something he had seen often, nor had he ever been in a poly relationship. Then again he was never in a real relationship - there were his little flings for his covers when hiding among humans, but he never really counted those.

Chuckling at his companion's kiss to his tanned hand, Scott just kept that hand laced with the other. He drummed his fingers on the back of Auden's palm to keep his hand busy, the other one desperately trying to keep his luggage from falling over and dumping all his belongings.

There was a hum in thought as Scott took a moment to process all that had been presented since his arrival. It was certainly a different experience from all the time he had spent in the United States, that was for sure. "I see. Sounds like a good place." Given how much Scott seemed like a rebel, he seemed to be genuine about how much he cared about school. "I assume they give all of the standard classes. Anything actually worth taking beyond those?"

Auden was glad that he hadn't freaked out over the whole poly thing. He had never dated before coming to this island; he'd never even had the chance to be interested in someone. All he knew now was that he had a lot of built up love and affection that he wanted to give out to whoever deserved it. He flushed at the light movement of Scott's hand, finding it only a bit odd that he still wants to hold onto his hand. If this would have been anyone else, he was sure that they would've kept their distance by now. "Yeah, it's nice here. And um... power classs are kinda mandatory, but you wouldn't get that in a regular school." It was a time to practice and to be around others to explore and learn. "Also, would you want to date me in the future?"

There wasn't much he could complain about, in all honesty. Scott did come from a portion of existence where people were not only tortured for their sins but beings ran around spreading them like candy on Halloween. Weird things were pretty normal to him already and yet there would still be that adjustment from dealing with the human world to just chilling out on an island full of myths and legends - but they all spread from somewhere, he knew.

There was a small groan at the concept of power classes. Oh boy, what would they try to place him in? Scott did not know but he supposed he would just have to roll with it as of right now like he did with pretty much everything else. It was easiest to get into groups if he just rolled with things but he had reminded himself of that so often that it just became part of his personality at this point.

"Oh joy. What kind of power classes are you put into?" asked Scott, trying to get an understanding of just how they evaluated who had what abilities and how they arranged things. As far as he knew there was a certain amount of stuff that species shared but he has already discovered that other Envy Demons had different abilities than he.

Mildly startled by the suddenness of the question but not necessarily at the situation itself, Scott hummed in reply. His sharp teeth tugged at the dry skin on his lips as he seems to constantly forget that chapstick is a useful tool. "Maybe. Probably not in the near future since we did just meet about an hour or so ago but maybe."

"I mean thankfully they aren't really mandatory for high school but, it's kinda nice if you suck at your powers." He smirked, remembering that it was more so an option class. "You know, get you in a room, sometimes one on one and they test certain things. They are there to help you, so a lot of the time you can train what you like." He nodded, affirming his words. "Got a bit mixed up, still in the thought of when I got here, being in middle school and all." His eyes rolled at how dumb he had been. "Maybe is better than no, so I'm taking it. I'm taking it all."
