As Eliana spoke, Cardamon put his hands down. Slowly the hood relaxed more until it slid off of his head. The sunset played nicely on Cardamon's glass face, giving him highlights of red and gold. He could see her heart easily. She was all about spontaneity and fun. Usually those kinds of people came off harsh and abrasive to Cardamon, but she was different. She was nice, and spoke softly. It seemed at odds with impression of her he'd gotten that it made him feel...

It made him feel special somehow.

"Well, I think that's cool." He said lightly. Although she said it was fine, the last thing he wanted was his voice cracking again. He rubbed his elbow with his other hand, looking sheepish. "I'm a homebody. People who can have fun like you are pretty cool."

Eliana watched as colors played on his face. He was stunning. At that moment, he looked a piece of art himself, colorful and transparent, kind-faced. Eliana wasn't big into art, not in the least, but even she knew a masterpiece when she saw one.

"Everyone is special," Eliana grinned. "I would say 'in their own way', but that sounds condescending. I mean that, though, everyone is interesting." And that was a full truth, rather than the half truths Eli so often spewed. People were exciting, it was why she had yet to grow bored of them in her long life.

She wondered if he'd run away, close off from her the moment he found out she was a demon. She watched him, still smiling, as she debated the fact. Difficult to tell. Good people often ran, even when they liked someone. Then, creatures on this island had a way of surprising Eliana that she had always enjoyed.

"You told me a bit about yourself; I suppose it's only fair that I share more about me, right?"

Cardamon looked at Eliana looking at him and immediately looked away. It felt weird. He'd gone to many an art gallery, when it was very nearly empty and with every possible bit of skin covered, and wondered at the pieces created by people of so many backgrounds and creeds and felt nothing but wonder. Looking at her, he thought that was how she felt when she looked at him. As though he was a living work of art. He withered a little under that gaze, honest and truthful as it was.

If he had a heart, it would be thrumming in his chest, mad and uncontrollable.

When asked if she should tell him about her, he nodded. "I would like to hear about you." His eyes flicked down to her heart. Belatedly he realized that it would come off oddly, as though he was looking at her chest, and his eyes flicked right back up to her face again.

Eliana thought it was cute that he was so bashful about his beauty. She never stopped watching him, though, eyes reflective and dark. So very dark. Dark eyes had a way of looking through a person.

She didn't mind when he appeared to be looking at her chest, Eliana was so used to that type of attention, it had never bothered her before and wasn't doing so now.

"Well," she began slowly, eyes shifting a fraction toward the sea, adding to her sudden gingerly manner. "My full name is Eliana Ria, and I'm a demon of lust, an actual daughter of Asmodeus one of the seven princes of Hell." She paused to see how he took this information before moving on. "You know I like people, sure at this point, you can guess why."
