Private Finished He be a weird boi

Luna loved to listen to him ramble. It was hard to get a word in sometimes, seeing as she isn't too much used to social interactions. But with Nix, she's comfortable. Suddenly though, he spills some of his coffee spilled on his toe.

"Hey, you alri-," aaand he didn't seem to care too much, minus the nervous clearing of the throat at his obvious goofiness.

At his glance towards her TV, she got up and dragged out a few select games for her somewhat new GameStation. From the top of the pile, she grabbed Ginga Naiden which definitely showed some wear. Luna obviously had been playing it a lot from the looks of it. An older game from an older GS generation, it still looked and played just find on the newer one.

Luna smirked at Nix at his obvious quote from the game. Coincidentally, it was one of her mains, though she didn't use them as often. She preferred another sword-user.

"I think I will fare just fine fighting against you. You've talked so much about your enthusiasm for the game I think I might know who your main is. And I know their limitations," cue the wink.

She turned on the TV and hooked up the console, whilst also grabbing two controllers and handing one to Nix.

Luna smirked at his enthusiasm. Man, she could feel it fueling her own. Practically bathing in excitement, Nix had plopped down next to her which made her jump. Physically a little of course, but mostly it just surprised her. She laughed a little.

"I know more about the sword than you can imagine," she said whilst trying to pull off an evil laugh. All in good fun, all in good fun.

One of the characters had a long rapier-like weapon. Not her personal weapon of choice, but definitely her favorite fighter. Selecting them, Luna turned to Nix and said with a teasing voice, "I hear your character is of the same tier as mine. But this one is slightly faster. I wonder if your superior defense will save you."

Without realizing it, she had indeed leaned closer to Nix with a smug look. Luna quickly backed away with a light blush on her face, dismissing it. It's a fight right now.

You know he's flirting right?

Oh man, that earned a blush from Luna. Not controlled, hardly able to.

"W-well, a rapier is meant for stabbing, and it's small to fit through slots in armor. Thus, through defenses. Maybe, just maybe, I'll beat you hmm?" she tried saying it with confidence, but it was wavering. BARELY noticeable on her end. Just a little nervous. Yeah. A little.

Goddammit she was liking his flirting, wasn't she?

Yeup, you are.

Can you NOT?

"Hmmm...this one?" Luna hovered the selection over a new, DLC air stage. Maybe the character's weight would make it harder for Nix to move on a stage like that.

Oh man Luna's smug look almost felt painful. So much smirking was getting her really hyped. At the same time, Luna was almost worried his fighting skills sucked. It's been foreeeeverrrr since she fought a worthy opponent.

After selecting the stage, immediately they were thrown in the game with the classic three-second countdown. Once the round began, Luna immediately made her character step away from her opponent. To gauge how well he fights for the moment. She kind of half-heartedly guessed based off of his ego that Nix would immediately do a heavy attack, and she was right.

"Aggressive much?"

Luna made her character step back into place to stab the broadsword-user a few times before dodging forward to appear behind them. A quick stab in the back and they were on the ground. Not defeated, but a sliver had placed itself in the opponent's health bar. Luna swore quietly. They were only stunned for the moment.

"Oh, I don't dare underestimate you. I suppose maybe that attack might've been too predictabl-," oh dear, there goes his combo. And now SHE'S stunned. Her character. She's stunned. Luna is just grumbling under her breath.

Suddenly, as she was trying to mash buttons to get her rapier-user off the ground, Nix bumped her arm. Mind you, this was at the worst possible time. You know how some characters in a fighting game, when you use the analog stick to move after being stunned, the character jumps forward or backward accordingly to avoid an attack? Well that's what happened when Nix bumped Luna's arm. The rapier lady was near the edge, and Luna had accidentally pressed the stick backward...and the character ended up jumping off the edge. Instant death.

"...NIX YOU TIT! That doesn't count ya hear? You bumped my arm. Next round, you're dead. Your heavy character is going to have the same fate I swear."

As soon as the character spawned back in, she went AT IT. Luna sent a flurry of fast attacks at Nix's character, stunning him multiple times in the process...Slowly but surely, he was near the edge.
