The coffee was boiling, the pizza was cooking, and Luna was relaxing on the couch waiting for them both to finish. It was a bit later in the afternoon, but who cares if it's too late for coffee right? She was tired as all hell from staying up late, and she certainly didn't want to sleep so early or her sleeping schedule would screw up even more. It didn't help that she was hungry.
On cue, Luna's stomach growled loudly. Goddammit...
Luckily she was home alone this time. Her roommate was out again, probably drinking their life away. Luna had received a few texts from her friend Nix, but she wasn't expecting him to come over. The house was quite, minus a quiet bubbling from the coffee machine.
"Of all people, why me? Seriously..." Luna asked herself, holding the kind of worn Valentine she had received a bit ago. She knew who it came from, but she wasn't sure of...well, many things. But mostly Luna was worried that she didn't belong enough to have deserved such...attention. Care.
Luna leaned back on the couch, laying her head on the back pillows and sighed. She closed her eyes and blocked out everything, hoping to get rid of the damn thoughts going through her head.
