Sonlath shrugged. "I dont know...but I guess ill leave if you want me to." He said beggining to get up thinking he was annoying her since she was talking the way she was.
"I dont know...but I guess ill leave if you want me to."
The woman was silent for a few moments. She wanted him to leave, she wanted to be alone... but at the same time, she wanted him to stay there. She didn't want to push him away or make him feel like he was being pushed away, since he was the only person she had left. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye as he began to get up, and finally looked up, shaking her head. "I don't want you to go..." she told him quietly. "But if you want to, you can. I won't force you to stay or leave." She didn't look way, just waiting to see if he would stay or leave.
He nodded and sat by his older sister since he did still feel that she might need his company if nothing else...and he did feel like it was a good thing what he was doing so he just sat there and looked down not knowing what to say9
Cordelia was glad when he sat down again, and looked out at the ocean. She was silent for a while, not knowing what to say, and not really wanting to say anything. She was just glad he had decided to stay, since in a way, having someone there that she actually knew and cared about comforted her. However, after a few minutes, she decided they should probably change the subject; the silence was getting to her. "Time to change the subject.... so how have you been lately?" she asked him without turning to look at him.
"Ok I guess..." He said knowing the subject of him turning into a wolf was going to come up sooner or later...he would just wait for later since he didn't really want to bring it up
She managed to smile, glad her little brother was doing ok. "That's good," she said. She was silent again, then remembered the fact he could turn into a wolf. She didn't really care, but she did wonder how it had happened. So, she decided to ask. "I hope you don't mind my asking, but... how, exactly, did you learn how to become a wolf? I'm just curious," she said.
Sonlath sighed. "Well...im a werewolf." He said quietly having a feeling she wasn't going to like what he just said...the full moon wasn't up after all...so why would he didn't have anything to worry about yet
Cordelia blinked for a moment, shocked. Well, that would explain it. It didn't bother her too much until she thought of something... was he going to be stuck in the body of a child forever? Now that wasn't fair. She narrowed her eyes at the thought, but since she didn't know for sure, did her best to stop herself from being angry. "Oh," she said. "That's cool. Gonna live forever, hm?" She smiled somewhat, she couldn't help it. "But, I must ask. Are you going to age and get older or are you going to be a little kid forever?" Her voice went quieter toward the end of what she said, hoping more than anything he would get a chance to grow up.
He didn't say anything...he knew he wasn't going to grow up but he didn't want to say it...he was dodging the question forever...not wanting to be thought of as weak or sad but truly he was...he didn't want to deal with it but what choice did he have...
The woman's dark blue eyes widened somewhat and she turned to face Sonlath. His silence worried her... was he really going to be a kid forever? She swallowed nervously, unsure if she really wanted to know the answer to that question now. "Tell me, Sonlath..." she said quietly. "Are you going to grow up or aren't you?"
