Hand in Hand in the Sand

Lycia waited there while Zeke did whatever he needed to do to try out his plan. Bouncing just a little bit on her heels and wiggling her toes in the sand. Her hands folded in front of her so they wouldn't get in the way until Zeke was ready to take their hand again.

Her head cocked to the side as his... her voice changed. Lycia's giggling was very evident as she heard the strange but familiar voice. She could see as Zeke's soul moved a fraction closer but.. well she couldn't see Zeke. Effectively to her sight they hadn't changed. "Zeke," she laughed, "I cannot see you. I cannot see the changes."

With that she reached out a hand, softly grasping around for Zeke's shoulder or her hand. Some place to start getting a mental picture formed.

Lycia's hand carefully reached out towards, based on her best guess, where she was pretty sure Zeke was. Except she was just a little off target. Or rather she was on target, just perhaps targeting the wrong portion of her to reach out and touch like that.

Girl Zeke was so soft and... oh. Ohhhh. Lycia immediately retracted her hand, not entirely sure what to do about the situation. "Oh," she giggled a little. "I did not mean to do that." She sounded somewhat uncomfortable. Uncomfortable with doing that without permission really and also... it was sinking in slightly what this meant. Dating Zeke already was technically against her traditions and the rules set forth by her father. Dating a girl was probably even further from what was intended for her. In the Dream she was free to just enjoy the two of them having fun together, make or female, but it stirred a little hesitation in real life.

And she hated that feeling. It felt so wrong to be hesitant about something so simple. So she stood there a little unsure what to do herself. "Sorry. Can you help me hug you the right way?" Surely a nice hug would solve everything right?

Lycia let her arms be maneuvered and then felt Zeke's arms wrap around her. Certain things were most definitely different, but the hug was still very comforting. The head on her shoulder distracted her from some of the other things she wasnt so used to feeling on Zeke and she rested her own cheek against Zeke's.

"Oh. Zeke you can ask me what you want when you want to. I am not used to this but I like you. The girl you too," she giggled at the last part. It was so weird. But it was still Zeke, and it could be fun to spend more real world time with Zeke as a girl too.

She positively beamed at the mention of snacks and music. Returned fully to her usual excited nature. Concerns over how to handle a girlfriend forgotten behind the desire to enjoy the fun treats Zeke had planned. "Should we make the sandy castle still?"

Lycia bounced along with Zeke as he led them both a little closer to the water so they could build the castle. She seemed to like swinging their arms a little as they walked.

"I want to make a tower as tall as me!" She chirped enthusiastically as Zeke found the spot for the castle. Clearly that wasnt reasonable but she sure would try. But there was food too. "Oh. A sandwich would be good... sandwiches in the sand. Did you plan that?" She had a bit of a giggling fit and leaned fully on Zeke as they sat on the blanket.

Lycia smiled and lifted up the sandwich to take a nice hearty bite even though she hadn't asked what kind it was. Honestly it probably didnt matter anyways. Some crumbs fell off and scattered around on her as she ate.

She almost tried to answer her mention of cooking pools of water but her mouth was full so she paused a moment to finish chewing and swallow. "This heat is ok for me. It reminds me of home. But the water sounds fun too. Sandwich, castle, water. You have a lot of plans today Zeke," she laughed and reached out gently to find the other girl's cheek. "You are very good at this."
