If yawns were contagious for normal folks, they were doubly so for Lycia. She let out a huge yawn in response and curled up against Zeke like she was ready to sleep. Most people would probably have agreed that falling asleep on the beach in the sun wasn't the healthiest choice but Lycia wasnt thinking about that.
Nope, she was hardly one to turn down a nap and she nodded slightly. Her mouth widening into her telltale grin at the mention of icecream. "Naps and icecream! That is my favorite," she exclaimed happily.
"You make a good pillow," she added with a spurt of giggling as she draped one, somewhat sandy, arm over Zeke. "If you want to sleep I can make us sleepy."
With that she began a slow, melodic chanting. A hypnotic song to cause the willing to go to sleep. Either way, within a minute the chant trailed off as she fell asleep.
