Titus took in Thiul's dragon form, she was bigger than him, but that was really the only advantage he could see with this dragon form. He still held the elemental and probably strength advantages. He'd already started leaking more smoke clouds, detonating them once again to deflect the attack. But that had given her the chance to slip out of his sight. Hiding, rethinking strategies, she'd have to come out eventually. It was time to bet more violent.

Titus took to the air, billowing smoke, and leaking that sticky black napalm onto the ground as he did. He'd turn this place into hell itself. He spread the liquid, and inhaled, exhaling a huge blast of what appeared to be his standard smoke. He accelerated a he began spreading the noxious mix. It would soon become difficult to breathe, and uncomfortably hot. Heaven forbid he chose to ignite anything. The threat of it was real enough, and on a scale like this it could prove more deadly.

"I've got you surrounded," he growled. "Why don't you just come out, before I burn everything up."

The water had brought some relief to Thiul's burns, which weren't that bad yet in the first place. But as she observed what Titus was doing she concluded minor burns were going to be the least of her worries.
He had filled the hall with his smoke and was spreading napalm on the ground. Thiul was at a great disadvantage, and she could feel the heat rise. She closed her second eyelids to block the smoke from her eyes as she silently rose from the water. Thiul, quietly like an owl, took to the air as well and attached herself on the roof, hanging onto it with her claws. It was difficult to breathe but Thiul did not let that bother her. She was observing Titus, and as he spoke she narrowed her eyes. He indeed did have her surrounded, and that infuriated Thiul. But she had been expecting this. The hall was not a good place for a fighter of her style to do combat in.
But that didn't mean she was about to throw in the towel.
Like a bat Thiul got as close to Titus as she could and in a few seconds she was close enough to launch her attack. Thiul made the ice spikes on her body sharper and longer, pulled back slightly and shot herself towards Titus. Her goal was not to hit Titus head-on. Thiul aimed so she would pass close enough for her ice and bone spikes to make some damage. Then she would land on the wall and repeat this attack couple of times unless interrupted, using her wings to gain more and more speed after every attack.

She was changing up her tactics, opting for a close ranged aerial attack, and then another, and once more. What was worse was she was getting faster at each turn. Titus was cut up from the attacks, avoiding them just enough to keep his injuries minor. But he was still a little bloody, and this was getting old. He'd have to act now if he wanted to win this.

The only way to out maneuver her at this rate would be a sudden shift into his human form to make himself smaller. As he did this, he also shifted one of his arms back into its dragon form, grabbing onto her with the heated hand, his claws were digging into whatever they could. He wasn't letting go of her, he'd make her crash if need be. And at the moment, the ground while not ignited, there was still that threat.

Thiul wasn't going to keep this attack up forever, or at least change it up before Titus came up with anything to counterattack it. But just as Thiul was performing her last attack of this type Titus stroke back by shifting into his human form. He didn't stop there but shifted just his arm into that of a dragon and grabbed Thiul. His claws dug into Thiul's back leg. Her scales and spikes protected her to some extent but Titus was a fire dragon and his heated claws did their damage. Thiul screeched and attached herself onto the ceiling once more, though just for a second. She shifted into her human form as well, getting out of Titus' clutch. She let herself start falling and she observed the damage to her leg. The damaged tissue that had not suffered from burns would heal fast enough, but the burns were going to last longer and be painful. Thankfully her legs were already damaged so it wouldn't affect her normal life much aside from the pain. And that Thiul could bear, pain was nothing.

Thiul let herself freefall for a moment before she transformed into ice particles and blew over to the wall. Closer to the wall Thiul shot a row of ice spikes on it and they dug into the wall and Thiul landed on them. Her legs wanted to give in but she didn't let herself fall to her knees, not now. Instead without missing a beat she shot six ice spikes as big as her but still fast towards Titus, already preparing herself for his next attack.

She'd slipped out of his grip by shifting and man, she was making an escape for sure. Titus simply dove for cover behind a boulder the second he saw the ice spikes forming and fire. And then he lifted the boulder and hurled it at her. She was on the ropes, and he could still keep going. The kinder side of him was concerned about her leg, but that could wait until after they were done.

"Sheesh you're tenacious I'll give you that, but it's over now," he said, walking calmly in her general direction.

Dodging the boulder was simple enough, Thiul simply transformed into ice particles and dispersed from its way. She materialized again on top of it, and stood there watching Titus walk closer and talk down to her. Her legs wanted to shake and give in. Thiul didn't let them.
Titus was right, she didn't have much options. But Thiul had too much pride to give up. She would go down how she chose. Her eyes were ice as she looked down on Titus from on top of the boulder he had hurled.
"It's over? I'm still standing, aren't I? It won't be over until my knees hit the floor. With that, you defeat me, last hammer."
Thiul sent another set of six big ice spikes at Titus. Thiul shifted into a dragon again, and followed immediately after her ice spikes. Her legs didn't touch the floor as she shot herself at Titus, all the while shooting ice spikes and never stopping. Thiul wasn't as good of a close-range fighter she once was, not without her legs. But this was a so-called last stand as she swiped at Titus with the claw at the end of her wing, at a great speed.

"That's the spirit!" Titus snarled as he unleashed a huge explosion and shifted to thoroughly defend against this two fold attack. He jumped like a cat and aimed to land on her to pin her down to the ground. From there he'd exhale a thick smog to choke her into surrendering. The heat from his body would also make her nice and uncomfy.

Thiul spun around and took the explosion Titus unleashed with her backside. Her spikes and scales prevented the worst damage. She saw him jump, nimble as a cat, but he was not the only nimble one around. Thiul was able to roll out of the way, though she felt some of Titus' napalm stick to her.
The smog made it near impossible for Thiul to breathe and see but she swung her tail, and the big sharp ice spike at its end, to Titus general direction. The heat he was giving out was like a homing beacon that Thiul aimed at.

Titus had decided to make it worse. He avoided her tail spikes and blasted even more smog, this time it was hotter, definitely building up in places. He figure'd She'd gotten some napalm on her, but he wouldn't just set that off.
It was probably getting hard for her to breathe by this point. Stubborn opponents were always like this. And another thicker, hotter wave of smog. He was moving to incapacitate her. By choking her out, this was his environment. She'd probably start feeling it getting harder, even getting higher or lower to the ground would do little for her.

"Well, you're not bad at all but... these probably aren't the best conditions to work under"

Almost the whole room was filled with Titus' smog and the places that weren't were not hospitable enough to take cover in. Thiul's eyes weren't suffering much thanks to her second eyelids but the visibility was crap nevertheless. Thiul took flight and put some distance between herself and Titus. She knew it was but a temporary solution but she was trying to buy time.
As Thiul flew farther away from Titus she shot a volley of ice spikes at him from all directions. She couldn't see him but she could still feel him radiating heat. Thiul purposefully left Titus' words unanswered, as they greatly irritated her.

Thiul intended to land somewhere at the edge of the room, near the door, where there was less smog. But Thiul was more tired than she had realized, the adrenaline had kept her going. So her landing was rough and Thiul's legs caved in, limp and useless now. Thiul collapsed and growled to herself, glaring down at her legs as if intimidating them would get them to work again.
"Bad fucking timing..."
