Shiro would sprout an extra arm which would hold the violin case. "We wanted it to be a surprise," she'd say with a grin. "Just a little something me and Tadashi wanted to get for you," she'd sprout a fourth arm, the hand would gently poke Tadashi in the ribs, a spot she knew was ticklish.

The cat girl felt so happy to have her sister back, she'd missed her every single day. "After you take a look we should go get our dinner," she'd giggle, "I'm craving some spicy yellow tail tuna."

Her cat tail would sway behind her, a grin on her face. She'd watch as Tomo opened her gift.

Tadashi wiggled away from the randomly sprouting arm, only to be caught by the second one and he flinched, reacting to the tickling. "H-hey, that's no fair. I'm gonna draw all over your arm," he yelped and poked her right back with one of his gloved hands.

"Yes, please lets get to the restaurant. Before she starts chewing on my ears or something. Wait, no, that's more of a you thing," he snickered and poked at Tomo too. The gift wasn't anything super expensive but it was nice and would certainly keep that violin of hers safe in it's white colored shell casing with the little golden cat design for good measure.

"You being here with us is better than any gift you could get anyway."

What Tomo pulled out from the bag almost made her cry again. It was a violin case in her favourite colours, white and gold, and it had a cat on it. It was...perfect. Tomo's current violin case was just standard black, she cared much more about the antique violin that was inside. So without a second thought or saying a word Tomo took the her violin case from Shiro, took out her violin, opened her new case and put her violin inside it. It fit perfectly. And combined with Tadashi's words Tomo could feel her eyes tear up a bit. Tomo had a fond smile on her face which she directed at her siblings and she pulled them into a hug once more.
"You two are hellbent on making me cry today, huh?"
Tomo laughed and squeezed her siblings, maybe a tad too hard. No tears escaped her eyes, this time.

"My old case can go to hell, it never existed. This is the only case I have ever used and will only use from now on."
Tomo declared proudly and patted the case in her hand. Though she did pick up the old case too and stuffed it into the bag where the gift had been. Shouldn't just leave it lying in the middle of a portal station, Tomo could still sell it or something.
Tomo threw her arms around her siblings' shoulders and turned them around and started walking towards the exit.
"Now show me to the tuna or so help me! I'm hungry as fuck and good feels aren't gonna fill my stomach."

Shiro would giggle, wrapping her arm around Tomo. "Don't think good feels has enough nutrition to keep you going?" one of her extra arms would give Tadashi one more poke as they exited the portal station.

"So, you gotta tell us about your adventures," she'd tell Tomo with a grin. "I kept you pretty well up to date on things, but feel free to poke us if you have any questions." She wasn't actually gone all that long, but a lot had happened during that time.

Her tail would sway as she and Tadashi directed Tomo in the proper direction, her eyes taking on a red glint as her night vision kicked in. "Oh we should take a picture together!"

Tadashi laughed. "Ok, fine. Food first, tears of joy later." Though he did grab at the offending pokey finger that time. Shiro had too many poking fingers for her own good. "Wait, have you been telling Tomo about everything going on here Shiro?" He was visibly a little nervous about that. A lot had been going on that probably wasn't great to tell their sister when she couldn't come be there for them. Plus some of it was really embarrassing.

... "A picture? Don't you already know what we look like?"

"I got a feeling that my adventures weren't the kind that you'd be interested in hearin', sis. They don't got any hot chicks."
Tomo teased and in turn poked Shiro at a spot that she remembered was ticklish. Shiro was clearly channeling a lot of her teasing energy towards poor Tadashi and Tomo was glad she was now here to tip the scales a bit. She could give her poor lil' bro a break he needed. And judging from what Shiro had told her about Tadashi he needed it. Tomo would want to have a small chat with Tadashi later about all the shit that went down with him. But not now, since Tadashi seemed to be kinda nervous about the thought that Tomo was aware about what had been going on with him. Yeah, it had kinda bummed Tomo out that she hadn't been able to be there for Tadashi when the Ezra stuff happened or that Tadashi hadn't told her about it himself. But now Tomo could be here and Tadashi didn't need to worry about Tomo's problems anymore. Tomo was far from being totally fine but she had her shit more or less together now.

"Oh yeah, teapot here spilled everything about her dating adventures and that dark whatever academy and shit. My adventures almost got nothing against it, even though one of them includes oh, I dunno, a street performance that then turned into anti-capitalism street riot."
Tomo grinned, giving a small sneak peek at a story she was gonna share later, and secretly gave Tadashi a small reassuring pat on the shoulder, as if a sign that she wasn't gonna bring any of his stuff up. And if Shiro tried Tomo would put a stop to it.

"Why suddenly a pic? I just got here, are you gonna forget my face again so soon that you need a reminder?"
Tomo snickered, and as they exited she discreetly took a look around the street and city before them. Oh yeah, this was Manta Carlos alright. Man, it would feel weird to once again go to school after studying on the road and at home for so long...

Shiro would jump, bapping away Tomo's hand. "I like all adventures, they don't all have to deal with attractive girls," she'd say, sticking her tongue out at her. "I told you most of what I've been up too."

"Pictures are a good way of keeping track of how we grow," she'd say with a snort. "And it's good to take them during important times, like our sister coming home, but fine, we can take one later." Tomo seemed hungry so food could come first.

Her and Tadashi would lead their sister to the restuarant, it was nice, Japanese themed, a semi humanoid octopus could be seen making sushi. A oni woman would show them to a table. "So whatcha guys gonna get?"

Dating adventures. That was for sure an understatement. But Tadashi absolutely didn't want to ruin the reunion dinner by opening any cans of worms. His, hers, or any of theirs really.

"I'm gonna steal all the fish from both of your plates until i'm full and sleepy," Tadashi smiled happily. "Then you can eat what you want." Tadashi slid into his seat at the table with the others and waved at the sushi chef. Always good to be friendly to the sushi chef. They have all the fish. And the sharp knifes too, but the fish was the main point.

Thankfully the restaurant wasn't far, because Tomo hadn't been kidding about being hungry. Tomo looked around some more as they walked over to it, not that much had changed around the town. Some shops were new, but that was about it. The scent of the city was the same. Though now that Tomo was a lot different she saw the place in a new light.

"If you touch my fish you're gonna lose your fingers, bro."
Tomo said with a small wicked grin and teasingly snapped her teeth at Tadashi, as they settled down on their table.
When the woman came to get their order of course Tomo ordered the sushi set with most options. Little bit of everything, just like Tomo liked it.
"But seriously, I'm disappointed. Neither of ya wanna hear about the street riot. Do you have more interesting stories or something?"
Tomo complained and faked a pout, crossing both her legs and arms.

"I literally just said I want to hear about your adventures," she'd say as she ordered a dish of spicy sushi. "I want to hear it all, if the riot is where you're wanna start then go ahead," she'd also order some mint tea for herself.

Her tail would loop around herself, resting in her lap. "Anything you wanna know with us besides what I've told you?" she'd kept Tomo updated on most things. "Honestly.....the dimension jump and that weird old school popping up hasn't really affected me much," she'd say with shrug. "So life as normal for me," well except the vampire thing.

The mint tea would arrive and she'd take a sip of it, listening as her siblings spoke.
