Prahka's idea sounded absolutely perfect. That said, the bird felt bad she'd be the one landing the first blow; almost like she was stealing the glory. Nonetheless, she was more than pleased to follow. Kueria nodded as Eein shared the intricacies of the plan, thankful that it was simple enough for her to remember. Just bite the joined neck. Easy.

The bird stepped back, taking a moment to contemplate if she should alter her appearance to make her presence less... conspicuous. While she had full confidence in Prahka and Eein's hunting and distraction skills, too much stealth couldn't hurt, right? Taking in a soft inhale, she let the crisp winter air fill her lungs with fresh vigour. With a soft chirp, she felt magic seep into her feathers, dying them pale azure to match the skies above whilst her pinkish hues dissipated in the form of a visible pink fog that shrouded her massive figure. Hopping out, Kueria then faced the two once more, ruffling her now blue plumage.

"Okay, Kueria understands the plan."

In a swift motion, she kicked off the ground leaping into the air as she batted her wings to gain altitude. The bird relished in the familiar feel of becoming one with the winds, a sense of freedom blooming proud in her chest. She felt the air, the breeze, and the particles swaying in tune with it. Absolutely liberating. Casting her gaze down, she ensured to keep Prahka and Eein within her field of vision as she awaited their lead.

Prahka stared at Kueria, her jaw hangs as the rosy feathers to the pale blue of the sky above. The harpy looked as though she was about to ask Kueria something but held back her tongue as she decided against it. The harpy would then look to the two of them, nodding her head as three of them agreed upon the plan. They all knew their purpose; now comes the true test.

"So the hunt commences... let us be off."

Prahka, would shield her eyes from the wind and dust Kueria stirred up. As her shadow loomed over, Prahka lowered her wing to watch as Kueria became but a small blue dot in the sky, hardly notable for even her keen eyes were she not already searching for her. With just her and Eein left on the ground, Prahka would trail behind as Eein led the way. Seeing as it now just him and her, she figured now was good time to bright up few things on her mind regarding Kueria.

"... Eein... since we have some time... I like to ask... Kueria she is not as I... imagined. There is much I could go on about her but... how was it that the two of you come together again? Being around her is like... being graced by the Spector of a revered ancestor or great spirit. Something so... beyond that I don't know I should even act around them!" squawked Prahka, trying to keep composed even if her feathered seemed ruffled.

He'd look a Prahka, surprised by this. "Well, she kimds stumbled onto me napping one day.....and well, we spent time together, became close, and we ended up together," he'd sniff the air before continuing forward.

"As for how you should act.....just act like you usually do," he'd say with a nod. "Yes, she's powerful, but as far as I know she's not a ancestral spirit or anything like that." He'd smile. "She's a sweet girl, more potential that she realizes."

Eein would go quiet as they neared their prey, the scent going stronger, he'd motion Prahka to take her position. Soon he could see the animal through the brush, so he'd make his move. He'd push forward, directing the creature in the desired direction.

Kueria zipped through the skies, relishing in the crisp winter atmosphere. From her distance, she could barely hear any conversation much less make out the words they were saying. Regardless, the bird kept her mind on one thing and one thing only - hunting.

She stooped down slightly as Eein begun the chase. Gliding fast in the otherwise silence, the bird begun to close in, waiting for a clearing to come into view. The deer was large; bigger than she'd originally envisioned but it was not an issue. For a second she entertained the idea of using the aid of magic to take this deer down but that seemed unnecessary. Especially so with two more than capable hunters by her side. As such, she continued to shorten the distance, keeping a close eye on her target until he entered the range of her radar. Shifting air molecules pin-pointed its every move; each step, each inhale, each exhale. The poor prey wouldn't even have a heartbeat go unnoticed. This. This was a good distance.

Satisfied with her position, Kueria then glided in tune with the rest, waiting for her chance to strike.

Eein first meeting with Kueria according to him sounded quite... quint. Unremarkable really. Part of her expected something along the lines of Kueria descending from the heavens instead of her just... catching Eein as he was snoozing.

"But... I..." Prahka would shake her head and let out an annoyed gruff "... nevermind. I do as you say and act as I usually do."

There was more that she wanted to say but she was unsure how the continue the conversation. Plus, their prey smelled close. Blending in with the underbrush as a great three headed stag emerged from the foliage. The creature seemed wary as it strutted into view two of the heads one alert while the third cautiously nibbling on some greenery. As both she and Eein crept two it, the beast seemed to relax enough to let its guard down. Closing the distance, she waited for Eein to spring the ambush: the chase was on.

Even the merely rustle of the bushes as they emerged, the deer beast was quick on it's feet and ran between spaces of the trees between with remarkable speed. Still, Prahka was able to keep pace and ensure that it was running into the clearing just as planned. Just as clearing came into view, instead of running straight as expected the deer beast unexpectedly made a hard right turn as though to it knew to avoid the clearing! Did it somehow knew of Kueria above?

Prakha has but a second to decide her next move and on instinct she leapt upon the rump of the deer beast while she was still close on its heels. Letting out a shrill screech and talons at the ready, she intended to ride the back of deer beast, using her weight to slow the beast for Eein her jump was too short: instead of latching on with sickle talons only her clawed fingers managed to catch the back of the beast's hide and cuts through it like shears through parchment. In it's panic, the deer beast bucks Prahka off and lands a solid kick square in the chest with it's hoof.

The world felt as though it slowed as the kick hung Prahka in the air, she felt all the air in her chest that leave her body as well as sharp, anguishing pain where she was kicked. But she was not about to allow this pain distract from the hunt, using her wings to safely backflip on the ground behind. Yet as tried to resumed the chase, there was an aching pain her chest that was abated only by her clutching her ribs. Seeing blood on her claws, she looked for find her injury only to realize that the blood was not her own but that of deer beast when she clawed into. Though she was not bleeding, she was in no conditions to keep up with the deer beast and looked for Eein.

"Go! Don't slow down for me!" commanded Prahka between her heavy panting "The deer beast is bleeding, you should be able to catch it. Flush it out for Kueria or run it down until it bleeds out. I'll catch up... just need a moment."

Eein would see Prahka attempt to bring it back, see as she was bucked off and kicked. He almost went to check on her, to see if she was injured, but she insisted that the hunt must go on.

So he'd continue the chase, weaving between the trees as he chased the creature. It was injured, moving slower, but it was also more desperate. His plan was to push it into the clearing where Kueria could take her shot.

Finally the creature would emerge from the trees and into the clearing, with Eein close behind. He'd glance up at Kueria, once she'd made her strike he would too, to make sure it went down.

From a distance, Kueria spotted the beast running astray but before she could worry about it, Prahka had sprung into action. The bird stared in absolute awe as she saw the harpy sink her claws into it's hind. Viciously, decisively. Admiration bloomed in her chest like a field of wildflowers in spring as she watched the savagery occurring below her. Prahka looked to be in her element and no words weaved to sentences could describe the majesty of her hunting style.

Then she saw the girl get flung off, hard. Time stuttered to a null as the bird watched on helplessly. She recalled conflict. She remembered standing by the sidelines on an island far away whilst her people perished for her sake, finding herself lost in a memory dyed crimson. Before she could stop herself, she dived down only to stop at Prahka's command.

Kueria hesitated, her gaze shifting between the girl and the beast as she hovered in mid air. She saw Eein keep chase and spared one last reluctant glance at Prahka before returning to the pursuit with a quick bat of her wings.

The bird zipped through crisp air with renewed resolve. She felt the pull of magic, weaving winds like a seamstress before a loom to boost her speed. There was no doubt the beast had noticed her by now but Eein was more than capable of keeping it on track. Once she saw it enter the clearing, she dived yet again, dropping like stone from the heavens. Her cry pierced the air like a lance impaling flesh as her beak dug into it's conjoined neck. Kueria saw nothing but red. Again and again, her beak struck flesh, barely managing to subdue it's struggles with her talons lodged in it's back. She flapped her wins in rapid succession in a feebly attempting to stay atop the creature, as she waited for Eein's strike.

Pain persisted in her chest but its effects where lessened as she take in shorter control breaths as not not expand her chest too much. She cursed herself for her being just ever so slightly off her mark that she was now put into the position she was now. The line between success and failure is ever so thin. Still, she could count herself fortunate that she yet still livesand there was no external sign of damage though Prahka was concerned that the area. She was sure it was to bruise and prehaps even broken a bone but figured she would just tough it out as she is not one to show weakness even to those whom are close to her.

For now her priority rested in returning to Eein and Kueria. A vengeful sheik of an eagle and the pained baying of the deerbeast, along with the fresh scent of blood, alerted Prahka to to location and started to make her way. Though slowed by her injury, she was still able make great strides through the undergrowth, arriving just in time to witness Eein make his move.

He'd strike hard and fast, his fangs sinking in, aiding Kueria in bringing it down. Once they were sure the creature was done, he'd close its eyes, then looking towards his hunting partners with nod. "We did well," he'd say with a smile, "you both were strong and fast, acted well."

Eein would then focus on Prahka a moment. "Are you ok?" he'd ask, lowering his head to examine the injuries. "Breathing ok? Nothimg feels broken?" he'd speak with concern in his voice.

"Perhaps we should fly back closer to the tree?" he'd suggest. "We can eat there and have a healer look at any potential injuries."

Kueria felt the beast shudder beneath her at Eein's strike. She leaped off as it fell, giving a few good pecks at now dead meat. Too dazed by the rush of adrenaline, she failed to notice Prahka enter the clearing, her mind fixating on Eein's praise alone. The girl let out a chirp, soft but contented. Stepping away from the carcass, she then noticed Prahka's presence as Eein voiced his concerns.

In a puff of blue fog, the bird morphed in a girl. A minute girl that sprinted out of the cloud, lightly wrapping her arms round the harpy, making sure to avoid pressing on her injury.

"Prahka!" She practically wailed as she pressed her cheek to the older girl's arm, concern seeping into her tone. "Are you okay? Can Kueria do anything to help?" Releasing her hold on her, Kueria leaned in close, peering up at her to search her expression for hurt.
