Mathos for his part had been listening attentively and with polite interest. This had gotten rather interesting he had to admit, and being the vindictive creature at heart that he was, Mathos both approved and applaud Pietro's choice of apology from his assistant.

Watching Levina squirm uncomfortably at Pietro's idea, only furthered Mathos's amusement. It was a fitting punishment in his mind, though he did not say so. Maybe next time Levina would learn not to allow her personal life to affect his business dealings.

"I personally have no issue with the ruse," Mathos stated with a smile as he looked at Levina. "And as it is just for appearances I am sure Mr Popov will be a complete gentleman," he stated as he glanced at Pietro before continuing.

"Also it would please me to know that you are willing to work with Mr Popov. It shows good faith on our part," he added pointedly, reminding her that Pietro would not be here or angry if she had controlled the situation with Altizica better.

Levina continued standing with her arms behind her back. She was obedient. She didn't question Pietro and she would never question Mathos. His approval of the situation was all she needed to hear.

She looked back over to Pietro with a new found confidence that she only got from Mathos assuring her he was ok with the situation and actually was for it. She nodded to Pietro and smiled courteously to him.

"I am happy to go along with your plan, as long as I can maintain my commitment to Mr. Sandoval as this is my job."

Her statement was confident and sure. Her business etiquette that made her one of the most sought after personal assistants shining through.

"However you are wanting me, I am at your disposal."

"Of course, Ms. Cromwell. It would be bad form for me to snatch away a business partner's star employee, yes?

Obviously I don't want you to behave any way you are distinctly uncomfortable with - so please, feel free to be as casual with me in public as you want. I only ask that you clear any nicknames you wish to use for me beforehand."

Pietro's smile was one of calculated victory. He wasn't particularly interested in another actual relationship: he had Natasha for his physical and emotional needs, and a house full of willing servants for when she wasn't available.

"Condrieu here will open a line of credit for you, that you can utilize at any store on the island. You will have access to a subset of my bank accounts. Think of it as an allowance to purchase yourself clothes that you may need - I attend many high end functions and you will need to dress accordingly for them. As long as the clothes are tasteful and well made, you can have them styled to your personal tastes.

And of course, if there is money left over in your coffers, you may spend it however you wish. Consider it also payment for acquiescing to my petty and unreasonable request."

"Now with that out of the way, minus fine details we can discuss later, we should get on to the business of spirits. That is, after all, the primary reason for my visit."

Levina listened to him carefully, much in the same fashion that she would listen to a business meeting. Making sure to pick up on the details, picking out the particular do's and don'ts that clients had. This felt natural to her, because that's how she was treating it. This was just a business deal. Something she had to do to make up for her mistakes.

She nodded carefully at each point being made and smiled when he spoke of dress and different events he attended.

"I assure you, and I know Mr. Sandoval can attest, that my dress to more elegant and high end events are nothing but my best. You will not be disappointed."

It seemed the worst was over for now. Levina was surprised that she had escaped as well as she did, but she had a feeling that Mathos would want to speak to her privately later on. Until then, it was back to normal business till her and Pietro talked more details.

"Yes. A tour as I promised you sir. Mr. Sandoval? I had promised Mr. Popov here a private tour of your brewery if he came by. Would you like to show him around? Or would you like me to lead?"

It was a regular question she had asked plenty of times. Certain clients he liked to lead them personally, and others he liked Levina to lead, while he interjected with his personal input, but being a different situation this time, she wasn't sure how he would like to handle it.

Following along with the conversation, Mathos cocked an eyebrow at the allowance that Pietro was affording his assistant. It was extremely generous.

"I will let Ms. Cromwell take over from here then," Mathos remarked pleasantly as he stood up from his chair. "She is quite capable of answering any questions you might have, Mr. Popov, about Immortal's ordering process, the brewery, and the history behind the processes we use."

"Also, I would like to extend my apologies once again for any inconveniences we may have caused you. I know you are a busy man," Mathos said as he showed the two out of his office and accompanied them downstairs.
