Adelina sat on the grass near the lake, and even though there wasn't any snow around, the ground was still cold. She was dressed extra warm today, with a thick, black coat covering her sweartshirt and regular shirt. Upon the female's legs were a pair of jeans, and her elbows rested on her knees, head in her hands, as she looked at the icy surface of the lake.

Music from her headset was blaring into her ears; it was Evanescence playing, of course. She hummed along to the song, and tapped her fingers against her cheek. She wondered if Andrew would be coming out soon, seeing as how she had to tell him something very important.

Andrew walked to the lake and sat down next to Addie. He leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Hey. What's up?" He said loud enough that she could here him over the music.

Amazingly, Adelina hadn't noticed him sit down next to her, and she blinked when he kissed her. She smiled though, and moved a little bit closer to him, pausing her music and taking her headphones off so that they were resting around her neck. She took his hand, and merely shrugged her shoulders. "Nothing's up, really. Although..." she paused, grinning widely, wondering how shocked he was going to be at what she said next, "we are going to be parents in a few months."

Andrew stared at Addie for a few minutes. He blinked once as he processed what she said. "Uh...What? Like, as in...a kid? As in..." He trailed off, not fully believing her. He just simply wasn't expecting that, at all, and it was kind of hard to take in, and she had just said it to casually, and calmly. How COULD she be calm about it?

Adelina giggled at his reaction, fighting herself not to go into hysterical laughter. She nodded her head after he mentioned having a kid. "Yep!!" she said, now becoming a bit more excited. "I'm pregnant!" Oh, she couldn't wait to see what he would do when she said it flat out. She started giggling softly again, trying to stop, but, well, her attempts to be silent weren't working.

Andrew continued staring. "Uh...wow." He paused. "Like, seriously?" He took a deep breath. It was still hard to grasp. "Okay. Cool." He shook his head. "Are you laughing at me?" His voice changed to a teasing tone.

"Like, seriously?"

That was it. As soon as the young woman heard that, she went into hysterical laughter. She couldn't stop laughing at how he was acting! She was just so calm and casual about it, and here he was, shocked. It was funny, and she didn't plan to stop laughing anytime soon. She soon wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded her head at his question, managing to be calm enough for a few moments. "Yes, seriously. Would I lie about something like this?"

"Are you laughing at me?"

Adelina started giggling softly again. "Haha, yep!" she said, trying to stop herself once again from laughing too hard.

Andrew rolled his eyes at her hysterical-ness. "No, I suppose not." He replied.
"Haha, yep!"
Andrew poked her arm gently. "Well, it's a little hard to graps, you know. So you may stop laughing now." He said.

Adelina bit the inside of her lip to try and stop herself from laughing, hoping he wasn't mad or annoyed at her now. She almost went into laughter again when he poked her arm, but refrained from doing so. She took in a deep breath and let it out after a few moments, finally calm. "Alright, I'm ok now. Sorry," she said. "I didn't know it was really that hard to grasp... I mean, you're just acting so shocked, and I'm so calm and it just seemed funny to me..."

Andrew rolled his eyes, but he was smiling. "Yeah, but you've had time to...take it in..." He said. He put his arm around her shoulders. "Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?"
