Private Finished Going for a spin

Alyx smirked as she seemed to feel a little more confident in her flying. He kicked up the allowed speed, shrunk down the size of the rings, and even tossed in a few moving rings. The course was a little more complicated requiring a few sharper turns.

"Don't get too good. You might take my job from me."

He teased as he braced himself up against the chair this time instead of free kneeling. Last thing he wanted was to take a tumble and lose his connection to the ship. Cambrissa would never forgive him, and Kek were eat him alive for allowing someone he just met to fly the ship, especially if something happened.

"Alright, you got a little more juice this time. Let's see what ya got."

"I'll try not to" She replied. She pushed the throttle all the way this time, pulling back for the turns. She missed a couple of the moving rings, but it wasn't that bad for her first time flying. She stopped the ship after, grinning even wider when she turned around to look back at Alyx.

"This is really, really fun. Thanks for letting me do this." She said, tucking her hair back behind her ear as she spoke.

"You wanna take her back in?"

Alyx raised an eyebrow at the question. This wasn't something he was going to just let her do, but it was something he was pulling out of his sleeve. He could park his baby back in it's hanger almost blindfolded. Adding in someone 'flying' it in wouldn't be an issue and provided certain opportunities.

He stood back up and pulled the interlink out as the console pulled back from the seat. They were drifting lazily through space and plenty far enough out of the way to not be in the way. Alyx held a hand out to her to help her up out of the seat with a smile on his face. He was definitely up to something.

She could tell he was up to something, but.. well, he seemed like a good guy, so whatever he was scheming was probably fine. She gave him a nod.

"If you think I can, sure thing" She agreed. She reached up to take his hand, pulling herself up and keeping hold of his hand once she was standing again.

Alyx quickly took the seat when Anne stood up. Hold onto her hand, he pulled at it slightly and moved his other out of the way indicating he wanted her to sit in his lap. His charming smile come out to play once again.

"You aren't qualified to land on the station, but I am. Technically...I'll be flying."

A playful wink was sent her way. He wasn't sure if his ploy would actually work on her, but he had to try, and he had the confidence about him that even if it didn't, it wouldn't bother him. Honestly he could understand if she didn't take his offer. They had just met.

She was taken off guard when he pulled her into his lap. She shifted around from being back to front with him, instead sitting sideways across his thighs with her arm over his shoulders. She liked him, for sure, but she was one to move a little slower. That said, she did lean in to peck him on the cheek.

"Think you'd be able to fly if I'm like this?" She asked, giving him a smile. She clearly didn't mind being close.

Alyx reached one arm around her back and the other in front of her as the console adjusted again to his presence. His interlink hooked up, the console set, abs them seated, Alyx chuckled at her comment.

"If I can push this thing to its limits, dodge people trying to blow us up, all the while jamming out...I think I can park her with you in my lap."

Putting the ship back into motion, Alyx slipped into the arrival lane and awaited his turn before calling for entrance to the hanger. Pulling in gently, the landing gear touched down with a soft 'thud' before the hiss of pressure equalizing started.

"First time in space, first time on a spaceship, and first time flying. Pretty successful outing huh?"

She rolled her eyes in response before leaning on him, settling into his arms with a smile. She nodded up to him as she closed her eyes.

"It was a really good outing. Now I can say that I've flown a spaceship and it'd be absolutely true." She said with a wide grin, already totally relaxed as she waited for him to get the ship landed properly and safe to get off of.

"Y'know, I still have that stuff I left in your room.." She said half casually, hand reaching back up to tuck her hair behind her ear again after the remark.

Alyx let his arms settle comfortably around her. The one behind coming to settle on her back and the other finding her hip and resting lightly on it. A small grin appeared on his face when she mentioned her stuff.

"Maybe we should make sure it's still there? I'd hate for you to lose your stuff."

His tone was definitely leading as he looked at Anne with an eyebrow slightly raised. A cover to hopefully get them somewhere he knew would be a bit more private. Especially if Cambrissa was hanging around but just being quiet.

She thought about it for a few seconds, considering all of her options. She didn't want the rest of her family finding out, but they were probably as far away from that being a problem as possible. After a few seconds she returned the raised eyebrow. What the hell, she was in in college. Time to have some fun.

"I mean, I'd hate to lose the jacket I left hanging there" She replied, playing coy even as she matched Alyx's tone. Anne shifted a bit to lean more onto him, just waiting for the ship to land at this point.
