The smile fully formed when she mentioned seeing his later. Alyx was almost all ego all the time and it took a bit to embarrass him, so he didn't mind the playful banter at all.​

Stepping back and checking her out again with a very obvious once over he nodded approvingly before stepping back in.​

"I think it looks great. Most of this brand are also temperature controlled, so would be right up your alley for staying warm. You won't even need me."​

The line came out smooth as silk as if he didn't have to think about it. Most of the time he didn't, his hotshot pilot personality was almost always on full display.​

Anne noticed the look he gives her and shifted the way she was standing to show off a little more to him before she closed the curtain again. She got changed quickly, leaving her jacket open this time. She took his arm again, holding the suit as she tugged him to checkout and buying quickly.

"I mean, I might still need a little help staying warm" She said, batting her eyes a little. She was totally taken in by his entire persona, the confidence and the way he was clearly interested in her getting her more and more relaxed.

"So, ready to get to the ship?"

Alyx couldn't help but enjoy her eagerness as she pulled him from place to place. It was refreshing to see someone enjoying themselves so much up here. He happily was tugged along while she paid.​

"Staying warm can be arranged."​

The wink came as he spoke and they made their way out of the store. That was when the magic words were spoken. She was ready to go see his baby.​

"I am never not ready to go there."​
​
A boyish smile overcame him. It looked like a kid getting the bike he always asked for on Christmas. Throwing his arm around her shoulders again he lead her down several hallways and to a lift they took down several floors that dumped out into a long straight hallway with doors dotting along it. Stopping outside one, Alyx put the code in and hit enter, as the door slid open revealing the sleek ship in tune hanger.​

"There she is. Our pride and joy."​

Anne blushed at his wink, but her attention wasn't on him for long before the door opened. She was totally speechless when she saw the ship, eyes wide as she stared.

"Holy shit that's cool." She breathed. She took a few steps towards the ship, wide grin on her face. She turned back to him, shifting on her feet.

"So.. think it'd be better if I got changed again?" She asked, already glancing back down at her shopping bag.

Alyx motioned over to a side of the hanger with a few doors up against the wall by one of the doors was a placard with his name on it. It didn't seem to be a large room but was big enough to change in.​
​
"That's where I keep my stuff here, should be able to change there if you want. If not I can show you either around and a bit about her, or onboarding where the magic happens."​
​
Seeing the small room reminded Alyx he needed to speak to the docking authority about an upgrade later, but he waved that out of his mind as he walked up to and placed a hand on the ship.​

Necessary or not, Anne remembered the reaction to her trying it on and, after all, that's what it really was all about. Plus, she felt really cool wearing it. She managed to drag her eyes away from the ship enough to get over to his room.

"No peeking, okay?" She said with a wink and slipped into the room. She made sure to get changed quickly, hanging up her jacket and folding up her other clothes in her shopping bag before stepping back out. She was practically vibrating with excitement.

"Left my other stuff there, hope that's okay- are we ready to fly?" She asked with an excited grin.

Alyx let his words linger in the air as he moved about the ship, unhooking cables and closing up compartments and panels. Wasn't much before everything was ready to go on the outside. Just to start her up, get clearance and head out.​
​
Alyx looked back over when Anne came back out and smiled. Walking over to the ramp up into the ship he paused and motioned her to go first.​

"After you."​

"Such a gentleman" She remarked with a smile before heading on board. Anne was practically buzzing as she stepped onto the ship, looking around at everything with wonder before finding what she assumed to to a passenger seat and taking a seat.

"Hey, you'll hold me if I get scared, right?" She asked with a wink, waiting for him to get in as well.

Alyx ducked onboard before hitting a control panel to shut and seal the entrance. Seeing Anne already taking Kek's usual seat he dropped into his chair with a smile. This was home. Where he was most comfortable.​

"Don't think that would go well with me flying."​
​
He chuckled at her remark as he flipped a few switches. The power core purred to life as the engines came online. Familiar vibrations settled his body into the seat before they themselves settled. Strapped his harness around himself and tightened it down.​

"Just strap in real food and I won't let anything happen to you."​
​
He looked over at Anne and winked.​
​
"Promise."​
​
Looking back forward, Alyx's cybernetic eye lit up as he contacted the station control center.​

"Control this is Hanger 48 requesting permission to depart."​

Anne's heart pounded. She was really here. This was a real situation. She was taking off in a real space ship, dressed like a mecha pilot, and with a cute guy. The whole thing seemed almost too perfect as she watched him get the ship ready for takeoff.

"Well, as long as you promise." She replied with a grin, settling into her seat and following him in putting on the harness. She looked between him and the front of the ship, waiting eagerly for them to get the go ahead.
