"I was moving all the time anyways. My job was all over the world. Evil demons and cults and all of those fun things have a nasty habit of popping up halfway around the planet from the last incident." He said with a chuckle.

"But no, I don't have anyone. Maybe one or two people who'd recognize me back in the village I grew up, but other than that, no one." He replied. He chose not to mention the possibility of his former betrothed.

"Let's hope the people in the village stays safe then. However I doubt any of your marks might end up targeting the village, it never hurts to hope for or pursue a good outcome.", and for a moment Neon was glad he didn't have anyone who would wish ill upon him... Or at least he believed he had no enemy.

"There's about a thousand crosses in a village of three hundred or so people, it's probably the safest place on Earth outside the Vatican when it comes to that." He chuckled, swirling his ice again.
"No, I made sure not to get involved enough with others enough that they'd become targets and I made sure not to make any enemies who I thought would last. It's been a nice change of pace not to have to do that anymore."

"I see, so that allows you to breathe relieved anyways.", wasn't hard for Neon to see how calm Hadley could be then, given how things were, "So that also allows you to be perfectly relaxed in bars such as this one, am I correct? Normally I'm more of a club person, but ever since I had my first taste of alcohol I have been indulging somewhat in beverages. Mainly saké."

"I'm a sixty three year old Irish Catholic, I'm relaxed in a bar like a lizard's relaxed on a sunny rock. As for clubs... well, I think all I really need to mention is that when I was at the age where I was spending time in them they were still called discoes."

"Discos are cool. I'd say discos are classier than clubs, even. Hm... That gives me an idea, but I dunno to whom I should propose the idea of creating a classic disco in MC. Finding Vinyls would also be a challenge too, if we were to make them legit enough...", Neon pondered for the moment about this one idea.

Hadley couldn't stop himself from laughing at that.

"Oh no, they're the same, always have been. Reckon I could pop into any nightclub on Sunset and it'd be the same as when I was there in the seventies save the music and the outfits." He shook his head.

"As for vinyl, shouldn't be too hard. Anything young people recognize is reprinted to Hell and back."

"The lighting has changed from then to now, along with that the musics are different, the crowd might have a different behavior too. But as for the vinyl, I have a vague recollection of listening to one more than once... There's something very unique about it that digital medium fails to replicate.", Neon gave light nods, both agreeing with him and wondering about his own memories of what he knew of disco.

"It's the analog. Digital's only got so many different tones." He took a drink. "Like trying to paint a rainbow with only three colours. Sounds like you're really thinking about this, though. Are you already a club owner?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Because usually I'm charging giving expertise for business, though it usually isn't discoes that I'm talking about." He chuckled.

"Yeah, it's analog sound that makes the difference. I'm no club owner myself, I just do a lot of trips to the club. Specially here at the station. Hm... You could look into setting up a club yourself, what do you think, Hadley? You got the tough guy looks and physique, bet you give a powerful presence wherever you go, so that could make negotiations go even smoother.", Neon gave quite the confident smirk at that.
