How long had it been? The feeling that he had once had seemed to have been blinded out. Work, friends, studies; it all gave meaning to his life. For the past while, his contact with Yesterday had been scarce. He ran away whenever they were close enough to talk, or avoided any calls or chats he wanted with him. For Maylynn, the pit of unhappiness was only blocked out by these things, but never truly filled. Oh how he missed the feeling of his unnatural skin. The weird scent he gave off, the look in his eyes when they kissed one another. Even if Maylynn had all the strength in the world, he couldn't deny the fact that he was still in love. No matter how many times he wanted to just give up, the man's programmed smile made him want to live another day to the fullest. His entire body shook, not wanting this cold breeze on his not-so-covered skin. The man was only wearing a t-shirt, while the weather would suggest that he should have been wearing a fur coat. He shivered, trying to warm himself up; it was no use. He knew in a few minutes he wouldn't need that warmth. His feet were slowly brushed by the water every few seconds, slowly pulling him into his fate.

Yesterday wandered. He always had, and when Maylynn kicked him out of his apartment, he went back to wandering. He didn't need to eat or sleep or rest in any way and his body produced no waste, so it wasn't like he required rest and shelter or facilities. As long as he could continue to harvest some sort of power, usually the sun, he could wander wherever he liked.

But he stayed by the beach, because that was what he knew, and that was where he knew Maylynn wouldn't be. He thought that he didn't want to be near him, so he'd give him what he wanted and stayed away.

He spent his days wandering up and down the shores, picking up pieces of electronics scattered around the area that his ship had crashed. The weather was becoming quite cold now, but he didn't feel it as he plucked his way through the sand. It happened to be one rather fateful night, when it was cold and dark and even Yesterday took a bit of refuge near the docks, did he find someone else.

Someone familiar, toes dipped into the water where they shouldn't be. He approached the figure, his facial recognition software immediately telling him it was Maylynn.

"...Maylynn?" He blinks at him, his eyes glowing their usual soft violet in the dim light. "What're you doing out here? It's cold..."

Should he go in? Should he dip his body just a bit more into the depths? It was what he had been contemplating for a while now, as if it was something that important. In those moments, his life felt like a blur, much like the way that the snow seemed. White, drifting away with the wind, meaningless. His body shifted closer before he heard the voice of his lost love. For a second, he didn't reply, thinking that it was just a figment of his imagination. The feeling he had when Yesterday's face came into his view was, too somber. "Just enjoying the water." Maylynn said before he turned his head once again back to the shores. "Aren't you c- Right."
