Akane couldn't stop smiling. This was her first sleepover ever, and so far everything was going well. Manta Carlos was wonderful. She was getting proper training with her powers, saving people from bullies, and learning there were others like her regarding powers and species. It was why she had her new friend Theodora staying over at her house now. She also had emotion-related abilities, and they had so much in common. Saving the girl from that bully was one of Akane's best life decisions.
Akane's bedroom was small yet roomy enough to hold the two girls. The walls were painted a grayish purple, the carpet was a dark gray, there was a twin sized bed pushed up against the wall with dark gray covers, and there were numerous posters hung up on the wall representing Akane's favorite people, Reaper from Overwatch and Raven from Teen Titans. There was also a table that had a nice computer set up on it and a swirly chair Akane enjoyed spinning herself around on. She tried to make sure the room was clean for Theodora, but there were still some clothes and books from school littered about.
Instead of laying on her bed or sitting on her chair, Akane laid herself down on a soft pillow on the floor, nibbling on a cookie from the large plate of them Akane's mother left in her room as a snack for the girls. She then took out her journal and started flipping through pages, before looking up to Theodora and asking, "So, I've had this idea I wanted to try out for a long, long time. Ever heard of the word vigilante? Or at least superhero?"
