Getting Away

Everto stalked up to the pair, his expression of hateful disinterest clearly visible.
"Hello," He drawled, his voice cold and cruel as it always was, "And what, pray tell, would you two be doing?"
His cold eyes surveyed the pair of them.

Just as Raye was about to answer Dante, she heard Everto's voice. She looked over over at him, and had this been a cartoon — she would have shrunk to the size of a mouse with nervousness and a slight feeling of fear.
"Hi..." she said quietly, trying to speak as little as she could. "And we'd be exploring..."

Everto smirked. It was a cold and cruel smirk, full of not much amusement.
"Well, it seems to me that you're not getting very far. Not far at all." He said, his voice still as cold, still as cruel, as it had been when he'd first spoken to them. Leaning up against a tree, Everto watched the pair with cold, unforgiving eyes.

The mouse inside of her shrunk smaller and smaller, until it it was so small that it finally disappeared with a 'poof!'.

But Raye didn't want to seem afraid. After this, she'd just go back to her dorm and hug her pillow... yes, that was the plan. And it was a very good plan... to her at least.

"W-well... um... ok you're right. But... um... well I guess we really should go exploring now..." She looked at Dante, and started walking, looking at the ground.

Everto smirked. As he vanished ino the shadow of a tree, a small spark landed on the ground in front of the girl. It was quite by accident, he'd imply clicked his fingers, but he wasn't telling her that.
