"Everything is okay, I will just check this phone. To see if we went unseeable," he said as he picked it up off the desk and stopped recording. He checked the footage, and...yeah. It was there the same time. He nodded. Okay, so then he'd just have to rely on instinct about it. "Everything is good. As you ready to go? We are going to have a good time! A fun time! And we will make friends."

He could feel the excitement building anew as he extended his hand towards Sushi. The evening of trickery began now!

Sushi felt instantly reassured when Hikaru told him everything was okay. “Okay!”

“I am ready to go. Ready to have a fun time and make new friends!” He went and grabbed ahold of Hikaru’s hand, then quickly tried to make the two of them invisible once again.

“Tell me if there is something else you need me to do. For right now, I will just keep us unseeable.”

"Okay!" Hikaru grinned as he felt his vision go strange again. It was something difficult to get used to, sure, but it would be worth it. Hikaru had spent a long time making sure that people would believe the ghost stories - that people would see shadows where they weren't meant to be, hear voices that shouldn't be distinguishable. And if he thought about it, wouldn't it be scarier if he straight-up spoke in Japanese? Nothing was scarier than a language you didn't understand.

"Okay Sushi, we are going to be pranking now. I hope you will be quiet." He said, creeping around the dorms until he heard footsteps nearby. It was time to lie in wait. They were ready.

Katie

Katie was lost.

She'd been trying to get back to her dorm, only to take a wrong turn, and then another one. By the time she realized she was lost, she didn't have the faintest clue of where she actually was. And to make matters worse, her phone was dead, meaning she'd have to find her way back to her dorm on her own.

Katie just hoped she wasn't in that dorm. She'd heard the rumors about one of the dorms being haunted as well as anyone. And she wanted to stay as far away from that place as possible. She was slowly getting comfortable with idea of demons being on the island, but ghosts still terrified her.

Still, even if she was in that dorm, it was just a rumor, right?

Hikaru saw it. His first victim. He let out a low moan, drawing it out and letting it reverberate through the halls. The acoustics were decent.

He summoned his first illusion. A shadow. He had it stretch, creeping over the floor until it looked like someone was right behind them. He held back the desire to laugh with all his might. He had to be patient. There were more hijinks to be had.

Hikaru turned off the lights and snapped his fingers, the blue flames appearing and lighting up the room as he began to speak, slowly and deeply as his voice sneered, menacing as it rose in volume bit by bit.

"Who dares to enter my home?" He muttered in Japanese, voice murmuring but with a booming volume. "I do not appreciate this intrusion unto my territory!"

Katie

As Katie walked through the dorm she sudden got the feeling that there was something behind her. Yet when she looked behind her, she saw nothing. Only shadows. She shook her head, this whole haunted dorm business was getting to her. The sooner she got back to her own dorm, the better.

Without warning, the lights completely cut out, and Katie was left in darkness. "H..Hello?" Katie called out from the darkness. As if an answer to her question, blue flames seemed to light up the hall she was in. And a booming voice asked her something in a language she faintly recognized.

"I.. I don't.. W.. what?" Katie asked, fear and confusion clear in her voice. One thing was certain, she was in that dorm after all, and she needed to find a way out as soon as possible. Seeing no choice but to push on ahead, she slowly continued walking through the hall, constantly checking over her shoulder to make sure nothing was behind her.

Not being able to see the illusions certainly helped Sushi in sticking with the plan. Through his invisible vision, it just looked like Hikaru making voices at her.

As planned, Sushi remained quiet and kept them invisible. Hikaru may have sounded scary, but it was all just acting. And even though this girl who had shown up seemed to be quite scared, Sushi knew it was going to be okay because she was just going to laugh about it after somehow.

Still, the fish boy’s hand tightened a little while holding Hikaru’s.

Hikaru grinned. Okay. She seemed to be scared enough. Time to push it just a liiiitle bit further. He didn't wanna terrorize the poor girl in front of his friend. With his free hand he slipped his language charm back on, voice sweetening as he made himself sound like a little boy. "I just wanna make friends..." He said as he pulled Sushi along the corridor to stand directly in front of the girl. "We can be buddies!" He said and clicked his fingers - the flames gathered and stretched around him, slowly revealing Hikaru stood there with a cape fashioned from his hoodie tied around his shoulders.

"Boo!" He laughed as he let go of Sushi's hand and his vision returned to normal. He was visible again.

Katie

Katie froze as the voice changed. Now it.. was a little kid? She looked around, but couldn't see anyone. She shook her head, she was hearing things. She had to be. That first voice sounded nothing like a little kid.

The flames seemed to move, and suddenly there was someone right in front of her. Normally Katie would have recognized Hikaru, but she didn't have time. Instead, when he yelled "boo" she promptly let out a shill scream, squeezed her eyes shut, and fell backwards onto her butt.

Quickly pressing herself against a nearby wall, she held her arms up in front of her, as if that could somehow keep the ghost away. "S.. s.. s.. sta... stayy b.. b.. b.. ba.. bacck!" she said, keeping her eyes shut. She was trying to sound intimidating, or angry, or something, anything to get the ghost to stay far away from her. Though when she spoke, it sounded like she was completely terrified.

As far as Sushi was concerned, the beginning of Hikaru's next trick was a relief. To him it just seemed like Hikaru was finished with the prank and beginning to switch over to the friend making phase. His grip loosened and he followed along, only to be caught off guard when Hikaru let go completely.

He was stunned briefly before tugging on Hikaru’s shirt from behind. He was still invisible but his voice could be heard from the speaker on his helmet. “Hikaru... I think they are really scared...” his voice was still quiet, sounding a little worried.
