Alma wrapped her arms around Chloe, pulling her tight into a hug. Her wings wrapped around the both of them, shielding them from potentially prying eyes.

"I know it feels like it's your fault. I know because I felt that same way when I- regardless. It isn't. It very much isn't."

Aaron had used her. He had used Chloe. And who knew how many other people. Alma was practically vibrating with rage. If it took a hundred years, if it was the last thing she did, Alma was going to watch him burn. Her aura echoed this thought through her head, amplifying it and engraving it in.

The wings made the hug better. It was darker and cozier. Her arms found their way around Alma's back, where her wings met the rest of her body. She was fine to stay like this for a while.

"There's been... other times like this, too."

Chloe came here to encourage the high school kid she liked to become a student body president. She didn't sign up to re-think most of her sexual history. This was going way off the rails for her.

Alma nodded once and hugged Chloe tighter. "It's okay. It's okay..."

Alma wasn't sure how long she held Chloe there, but when she felt a bit better she released the hug. "So, uh... I think I should get your number."

"So we can hang out sometime, I mean!" she clarified. She didn't want Chloe to think she was as bad as Aaron.

Once they traded numbers, Alma packed up her things. She was done campaigning for now. She needed to go vomit somewhere.
