[General Contest] May 2017: Vocab Contest Take Two!

The Vocab Contest was first run last August, but was a huge success so we're bringing it back. This contest encourages regular posting and creativity in those posts. This month we're going with verbs as a theme!

What Kind of Contest is This?
​

Every day, 3 unique and unusual words will get posted up in this thread. Your goal is to use those words within a post. Ideally, we're looking for interesting and creative uses of the words - consider them like springboards!​

How Do I Enter?​

Make yourself a post below, with a tally of how many words you've used over the contest period, with a link to each post and the word used. You can only claim each word once. You can use up to three words in a post, but if you do, it'll have to be a good one. Valid words will be listed in the second post under this one, underneath the entry format.

In the end, the person who has used the most words wins!

Any Other Restrictions?​

In the event that someone cheats around the spirit of the contest--by, say, having their character read each of the words off a spelling list every day--staff reserves the right to skip around them. You're free to use variations of existing words, such as different tenses or plurals.
