A bit more sadness shot through his eyes, "I didn't.....," he looked at the picture, "war broke out in my clan.....my..my dad didn't make it." He sighed, "so me and my mom came here."

Will looker back to her and smiled again, "but, it's ok now, you know, were safe here." He was still troubled by it all, but he was trying to keep going.

He nodded, deciding to not push the subject, he already liked her, but he felt that they didn't know each other well enough yet. "Yea its beautiful here," reminded him of gardens at the clan castle. "My mom loves gardening, she started one at our new home."

He grinned at her, "thank you again Nia," he ment it, "you've been very kind."

"Oh, I...I didn't...I'm so sorry." Nia managed to sputter out as she hid her face from Will in shame. She hadn't meant to bring up painful memories.

She nodded though, "Well...I'm glad you are safe. And, if you had to run anywhere Manta Carlos is a good place to come... It's been good to me and I'm sure it will be good to you, too."

She blushed a bit, "Oh no it's nothing really. Call it, paying it forward. I read about it in a book once...but I can't remember which book." She shrugged slightly then stopped suddenly as she did remember something, "Oh, I'm sorry but I have to get back to my room. It's getting close to the time that Aedan brings me dinner and I don't want him to worry."
