Starlight Academy is more than ten years old, and with ten years comes a lot of changes. Each change comes with a lot of site information to update, whether it means writing a new FAQ, updating the success guide, or fixing up a sticky. But after ten years, there's a lot of inconsistencies. The FAQ might tell you to do one thing, while a sticky tells you to do another, and now we're letting you, the members, help us get it all in order... and rewarding you handsomely for doing it!
What Kind of Contest is This?
The Easter Egg Error Expedition is a hunt-style event, tasking players with hunting down bugs, errors, typos, inaccuracies, and unclear points. If something's unclear, we'll fix it! If something's out of date, we'll update it! This contest is specifically focused on the following areas:
All parts of the guidebook, the FAQ, any and all stickies, and the site itself (skins, etc). If you've found an error that doesn't count as one of these, hit up a mod to see if it counts, because it just might! Please note that things on the wiki do not count, although links (in the FAQ, for example) to the wiki may count.
Every error found gives a different number of points. Small typos (teh rather than the, misspellings, etc) are a single point. Larger issues, like referencing something out of date (PM Emy for power updates!) are worth more points.
Only the first person to claim a given error will get points, and we'll be doing our best to fix things as soon as they're posted by a member. In the case of bugs, many won't be able to be fixed quickly (if at all, as some are inherent in the addons or forum software). However, we will be adding bugs to the bug reports list of known issues, and any bugs listed there won't qualify for points.
At the end of the contest, we'll be tallying up the points, declaring a winner, and also distributing a whole bunch of power vouchers to participants!

How Do I Enter?
There's no form for entering the contest itself. Anyone who submits an error will be counted on our behind the scenes tally, to be sorted out once the contest ends. To submit an error, post in this thread with the following form:
Code:
[b]Type of Issue:[/b] Is it a bug? A typo? Try and be as brief as possible, and feel free to say 'other' if it's really weird.
[b]Link:[/b] Give us a direct link to the page where the issue pops up.
[b]More Detail:[/b] Explain in as much detail as possible what the issue is. If it's a typo, point out what the typo is of. If you think a bit is out of date, say why.
Any Other Restrictions?
Bugs that can be fixed by refreshing are not counted.
