Akemi smiled slightly surprised that Alex was actually willing to lend her the money. She wasn't resisting as much as she was the first day. Maybe she was just trying to not upset her so she could be turned back to normal. "Umm, ten at most. I promise. Most likely less." she said as her Japanese accent became pronouced and she waved her arms slightly like she was off guard.

She would wait a moment before taking any money, she didn't want to seem greedy for cash or material. Well, comics were here and they were fine. Well, then she found a small cart that had a bunch of plastic containers full of different kind of dice. She had some already but now knew she could buy some more.

"You sure are being mean and nice back and forth today." She said as she fiddled with one of the dice. Well, she deserved the meanness at some points and she was probably just irritated about being a nekomimi and having to hide it.

Alex looked down at the money she had and handed her a ten. “Fine whatever.” Alex shrugged as she noticed how differently the girl was starting to act. She rolled her eyes at it now that she needed something from Alex she was acting slightly more awkward and helpless than normal. It was downright silly of this girl to think she could manipulate Alex with such silly moves. Yet she was giving her money anyways money she couldn't afford to be giving away. What was up with that?

“No I'm not.” Alex said as she looked at all the dice Akemi was looking at and wondered why there were so many dice and what they were used for. “I just want to get out of this stupid place as soon as possible.” Alex tugged on the back of her pants again, making sure that her tail wasn't showing. And glancing at a few boys in the corner who were glancing at her when they thought she wasn't looking. Too bad she was hearing everything they were saying. “Why would anyone even need so many stupidly shaped dice?” She asked running her finger over a few of them.

Gallent was in the gaming store looking over some new Warhammer minatures that had just come in. He needed to get some more dwarven units for his army and he needed more paint. Just then he heard a familiar voice from the forward part of the store. He looked up from the display case holding the unfinished models and saw Alex over nerar the multi-sided dice rack. "Hi, Alex-sama what are you doing at a place like this? I would have thought that you being what you are and all would never come here." he said as he rushed over to greet his schoolmate.

"I see you have found the dice rack. And as for what these dice do it depends on what game your playing. Warhammer? D&D? Starwars? Or are you just here looking?" he talked like he had just had two doven chocolate bars and a Monster energy drink. Leaning in close to her hat he whispered to her. "By the way I heard that the owner here is a big neko fanboy so if your looking for a job or a sale just go over to him and show your ears."

Alex cringed as she heard a familiar voice in the air. It was that boy from yesterday. Oh god she thought she would have intimidated him or weirded him out to make him avoid her from now on. That does not seem to be the case anymore. “Uhhhhhh.” She said trying to figure out what to say but the kids fast paced wasn't giving her much time to figure it out. “I am here with here.” She said quickly grabbing Akemi and pulling her closer to her and to maybe distract the boy. “I really don't come to places like this.”

Yes Alex was a bit of a scifi fan and a star wars fan and casually read comics back in the day but she had outgrew that long ago and found the people in these stores to be more than a little on the weird side. Especially now that she was a girl, and it was clear from these boys fantasies that they had no idea what they would ever do with a girl but it didn't stop them from imagining it all in ways that made Alex want to go back and shower in bleech.

“Thank you.” Alex whispered to the boy and glancing at the owner behind the counter, a tall middle age man with a stubbly beard and a Hawaiian shirt. Her hand went up to the brim of her hat as she looked at him, part of her was tempted to do it she really needed a job but she didn't want to get it that way, she on the brim and adjusted it. “No I don't think I will do that.” She said looking at Gallent, did he still believe the absurd story she told him yesterday?

Akemi had ignored her question as someone else went to speak to her. Apparently they knew Alex and called her Sama, glancing at him he looked American. Damn wannabes. Wait, why wasn't she being called Akemi~Sama? Next thing she knew she found someone on another shelf and went to pick it up to look at it before being dragged off to Alex's side. "Well, maybe you should, Pet~Chan." Akemi said and broke away from Alex slightly.

She glanced at the boy that came up to them, well at least she would have some company around here that knew games if he stuck around. She waved at him friendly and then picked up the item she dropped and put it back on the shelf after reading part of it. "You play any of those games you just mentioned, um, Friend of Alex's?" She asked with her Japanese being quite obvious in her accent now. They weren't any good in mimicking other culture's accents or anything.

"And what were you whispering about now? I don't like not being informed." She complained in an obvious whine and waved her arms slightly and almost knocking down a boxed figurine on a shelf next to her. "Whoops." She stated to herself.

Hmmm.. so apparently Alex-sama wasn't here for games but then who wa-ah-ah-ah-ah-as holy... Gallent thought as he saw Alex drag her friend over as some kind of human shield. Gallent was starstruck at first sight. It wasn't like the girl he saw infront of him was extrodinarilly physically attractive. But Gallent just couldn't keep his eyes off her it was like she had some kind of magneic pull on him. Then she spoke with a beautiful Japanneese accent asking him if he played any of the games he previously mentioned. "W-w-why yes I-I-I do infact. I have played many um.. games of D&D and Warhammer but uh.. have yet to play any Starwars Tabletops. My name is Gallent by the way. Umm... what is uh yours? heh" he said addressing Alex's friend. He was shakeing like a leaf in the middle of a windy day but he couldn't stop he was just so very nervous...

"Umm... anyways I was just telling Alex-sama about a possible learning experience and revinue source that she may wish to take a hold of. The guy who owns the place here is hireing girls specifically thoes like alex... heh. Apparently he has a thing for nekos." he said in a low voice so that only the three of them would hear. "Anyways if you need any umm.. help uhh.. picking stuff out or anything dont hesetate to ask me. heh."

It too everything Alex had to not laugh at this boys reaction to seeing Akemi. It was almost as if he had never seen a girl before in his life. The stammering the obvious attraction to her. Maybe Alex should tell him about the girls insanity. It would be the humane thing to do. It was bad enough she had to put up with it but letting this boy blindly go into a relationship would her would be just cruel. He might even end up a goldfish.

She sighed as she saw Akemi knock the figurine of the shelf. “Be more careful will you I'm not paying for it if you break it.” Alex said as she bent over at the waist to pick the box up when her tail spasmed and twitched yet again and sliding out of the top rim of her pants and shot into the air to it's full length twitching and swaying a bit as it did. “Ah shit.” Alex exclaimed as she stood up, catching the brim of her hat on the shelf causing it to fall off and float to her feet, her ears and tail exposed completely to the room. She stood there frozen and terrified unsure what to do, looking at Gallent and Akemi, with terror on her face.

“Ummm....” Alex said looking at both them her ears twitching and tail swaying happy that it is finally free form the confine of the pants. Now what was she going to do?

Akemi glanced at the boy as he started to stutter and stammer like crazy, after looking at her. Well, that made it obvious. She had automatically put her hand to her mouth to withhold a laugh, it wasn't that he was making a fool out of himself or anything with his efforts to speak but just the fact that of the obvious thing that hapened. Akemi wasn't ignored to things like this, just choice to ignore them often. This one would be a little difficult.

When Alex went to pick up the figurine, she didn't even know that it had dropped. Oh, she would've gotten it. But then Alex's tail came out. Akemi had been egging her on to not hide it but knew she was trying to not be seen with it. When she stood up and her hat came off as well, Akemi instantly went and clamped her hands over Alex's cat like ears.

Sure, she had been asking her to not keep it a secret, Gallent knew but everyone else didn't and Akemi was going to help Alex hide it as long as she could until she felt like letting it out herself. Even Akemi was nice at some points, and just being helpful. "Ah, sorry." She spoke to Alex about touching her that quickly and being the cause that her tail came out.

Gallent was ignoreing most of what was going on looking at Akemi. He didn't know what to do he was just completely unable to think of anything to do or say. Then he noticed something was amiss Alex's Neko self had appeared infront of a whole store full of hormonially unbalance nerds and fanboys. He had to act fast.

Quickly positioning himself infront of Alex's behind, to hide the tail, and whispered to his friends "Quick we are going to move slowly over to the bathroom. Even though it says male it is a single stall no one will be in there its the only safe place." Gallent just hoped none of the nerds had seen her otherwise they would be after her faster than Zombie would be after Albert Einstein.

Alex was frozen in place by terror and humiliation.. Normally she would have been freaking out by Akemi touching he like that, knowing it meant she probably had something evil planned, but right now she had bigger things to worry about. Her heart beating faster her breathing became faster, it was clear she was starting to freak out.

She scanned the room some people were looking in her direction wondering why the girl was holding her head and the boy was standing behind her. That was good it means they hadn't noticed her ears, now twitching and uncomfortable under her ears now pinned harder to her head by Akemi's hands than by her hat. Which was why she did not hear what Gallent just said so she stood there, her face turning brighter and brighter shades of red as she stood there looking like all her clothes just fell off and trying desperately to keep her spasming tail hidden behind her.

“Omigod. Omigod. Omigod. Omigod.” Alex kept repeating as she closed her eyes and hoped that by some broad stroke of luck the last week has all been one fevered dream.
