Walking down the road, Akemi wondered if this store was any good. She had looked around for one for a while and hadn't had much luck. Just another gaming store that she could probably hang out at in her spare time, which was a lot considering it was summer for another month. Another month until she could get her laptop fixed. Oh well, she didn't feel like spending money on a repair shop that would probably take two months. She didn't even have any money that worked here anyways. It was all in yen anyways. Hotaru had money but she wasn't going to ask him about it.

Turning around she looked at Alex, who she was pretty much forcing to come with her. She didn't wanna go to the store alone and she was the only person that she knew well enough to drag out. "Cooome on, you're still not grumbling about not wanting to come are you? What better things do you got to do?" She said and waited for her to catch up, the sun was moderate with a handful of clouds. It was a normal day, not too hot, not cold for a summer day either.

Alex followed several yards behind Akemi, arms folded bellow her breast, and slouched down sulking. She couldn't' believe she was still a catgirl, all because it was gonna take longer than she thought she let out an anoyed moan as she pulled down on the brim of her boonie hat that was hiding her ears along with these stupid annoying braided pigtails she was now sporting. It was so uncomfortable. But she couldn't have people see her like this especially people out in public. That is why her tail was currently pressed rather uncomfortably of on the her left leg in her baggy sweat pants. It was horribly uncomfortable and every few minutes she felt like screaming from cramps it kept getting.

“Yes I am,” Alex finally said glancing up from the sidewalk to Akemi. “You still haven't even told me where we are going.” Plus I could think of eight hundred things I would rather be doing then this, Alex said to herself, like not having hide the fact I am part feline now.

Akemi waited a moment and then went back and looped one of her arms around Alex's. "Oh come on, I'm not that bad am I?" She asked wondering if Alex was still holding it against her the handful of things that were done to her. Ok well she wasn't hurt in anyway at least, physically anyways.

"Also we're going to a gaming store." She informed as she looked around for it, dragging Alex along by the arm. It was somewhere on this street. She didn't glance at the people too much, she wasn't conerned with what other people were doing at all. Well, if she couldn't find it in like five minutes she would probably ask for directions.

"I know you're worried about how you look, I don't see why though. People will like it probably. Also it could've been worse, I could've given you whiskers." She said with a giggle and was only speaking loud enough for Alex to hear. It wouldn't take much to convince her to to take it off, would it? Ok, Alex was stubborn, so it wasn't coming off today. Willingly. Stupid hat.

Alex flinched as Akemi wrapped her arm around her. Last time she was this close to her she was four inches tall and she was about to eat her. Not a pleasant thing to be reminded of just then. She wanted to say yes she is that bad but Alex feared what the girl would do to her if she said that and she would like to look at least remotely human some time in the near future. Her tail twitched against her thigh at that moment to protest it's confinement.

“What kind of gaming?” Alex asked trying to figure out the kind of people that would be there. “Like video games and stuff?” That's just what she needs right now a bunch of sweet over hormonal teenagers looking at her ass the whole time she is in there.

“That's not funnya!” Alex said clamping her hand over her mouth again. Dammit that was getting annoying why did she keep doing that? The ears and tail and claws were bad enough but whiskers how would she be able to hide that? “I don't carrre if people like it I'm not there little object to heap affection on.”

Akemi thought for a moment before answering. "You'll see." She said trying to not speak about it too much. How hard would it be to explain without showing her? She didn't even exactly want Alex to know, but she still didn't want to go alone plus it wouldn't hurt too much, she knew quite a bit about Alex's secrets. She wouldn't tell though, unless she felt like it or it worked to her advantage. Like something serious though.

"Well, I won't do it to unless you want it or deserve it." She started and then looked around a little. There it was! At the end of the road, what are the odds of it being the last one they were going to be looking for? What a low blow. "Well, at least you wouldn't have to hide it. You're already stared at by some guys, so leave it be." She said not really wanting to get into this discussion, Alex was too stubborn to listen to it from someone else.

She pulled her forward a little bit more until they were outside of the gaming shop. Which sold cards, game books, comics, some games, dice, almost everything nerdy or geeky you could think of. "Ok, I don't think you'd like the place but I didn't wanna go alone." She said to Alex, maybe repeating herself. She just didn't have anyone else to go with.

Alex was pretty annoyed that she that Akemi wouldn't just tell her what they were going to. She wasn't even really thinking about it so she couldn't read her mind to find out. In absents of an answer Alex's imagination began to create one. Nothing she could come up with that this girl would be so eager to go to was in anyway a place Alex would want to go to.

“Well I don't care.” Alex grumbled Akemi just didn't seem to understand, was it because she was younger? It wasn't just the staring it was the thoughts of all those guys. What weird thoughts would she have to put up with if they knew what she looked like at the moment. That was definatly something she didn't want to find out.

Alex let moaned as she saw the store Akemi was leading her too. Automatically she tried to back away, but was stopped by Akemi who was still pulling on her. This, out of all the things she was imagining Akemi taking her. This was not one of them and yet it was probably far worse than anything she could imagine. “Yeah I could see why.” Alex said staring up at the sign. She was hoping beyond all hope that no one else would be in there. She could only imagine the thoughts she would pick up from the patrons, and all of them made her want to take a shower..

"Oh you're just mad I almost ate you the other day." Akemi said knowing that she almost did for real if it wasn't for the fact she felt bad for her and didn't want to kill her roommate. Well, if so why didn't she just take it off? Oh wait, she didn't care that she wouldn't have to hide it and get positive reaction. Oh well.

Dragging Alex into the store, there were only a small amount of people. Well, it wasn't that bad. "Ok, well.... if you really really want to leave. You can in like ten minutes if I haven't left earlier." She whispered to Alex before she went to look around just to see what the store contained. Still surprised that Alex hadn't left forcably, though she was smaller than Akemi, despite being older by almost three years.

“Yes and why shouldn't I be?” Alex said somewhat upset at the casual way the girl dismissed her anger. “What would be the appropriate reaction to almost getting eatenya?”

She winced as the girl dragged her into the store. Why didn't she just push her down and run off? Alex wondered as she entered the store and winced at the thoughts of everyone who watched them come in. Tugging at the top of her hat she growled and adjusted the waistline of her pants. “Fine.” She grumbled as she slinked behind Akemi, trying to get out of sight of everyone in the store. Why was she here? She could have refused to come but she didn't, it didn't seem wise to refuse the request of the person who could change her back to normal. Oh my god, Alex said in her mind as she realized, as much as she hated it she really was stuck being this girls pet, or plaything, this was all just her training her.

“Clocks ticking.” Alex hissed as she stayed behind Akemi, her tail twitching and cramping in it's confined space and glaring at anyone she noticed looking at her.

Akemi thought for a moment before going to answer. "Well, you could accept my apology and I am very sorry for taking that too far and you know it." She said as she was looking through one of the sections closet to the door. Just seeing what they had around here, it was the closet game store to the school and like ten to twenty minutes away so it wasn't far.

Turning back to Alex after taking out one of the Deadpool comics she flipped through it. It had a picture of the main character in his traditional red custome with a gun in a carnival setting with a teddy bear in his hands filled with bullet holes. One of the pages had him waiting as some guy fell in half. She closed it and put it back on the shelf. She should've brought a little bit more money.

"You don't have to be so harsh about it. Also do you have some money I could borrow or no?" Akemi asked and looked around again and decided she would come back to the comics. "I can pay you back."

“Fine whatever.” Alex said dismissively. She knew Akemi meant it, probably, but she just didn't care. It was near death experience this girl was responsible for it. That not something that Alex can forgive with a quick nap and a sincere apology.

She didn't stay to far from Akemi in this store, never more than a few feet from her, not wanting to be caught alone with one of those people without risking them finding out about her. She grumbled as the girl asked her for money. This girl abuses her turn her into all different things and then get mad at her when she is upset about it and now she begs for money. But what surprised her was the fact she was reaching into the pocket of her sweat pants and pulled out a wallet.

“How much do you need?” Alex asked looking at the little money she had in her wallet. She was getting low on funds and her parents were not sending her as much as she needed. She was looking for a job a few months ago but gave up around the time Alice left school. But now it was becoming painfully apparent that she wasn't going to be able to ignore the problem any longer.
