“No no I understood.” Alex said, adding the word mostly only in her mind. “I just don't necessary agree that what one person sees is any different from what other people see and or that there mind is some dimension in which you control. It's just electricity, nothing more.” She said as she watched Hotaru stand and tell her he is leaving. She frowned a bit disappointed that he was leaving so soon. This was the first conversation she had with someone in the last couple of months that wouldn't end with them walking away weirded out and leaving or sneering at her and leaving. She was actually almost having some fun.

She thought about it for a second glancing down at her spot on the couch then up at Hotaru she was sure whatever she did following Hotaru today would probably be really odd and probably regret it. But what else would she do today lay on this couch and complain about her plight in the world, or back in her empty lonely room. Sure what the hell she might as well see what this kid was going to do today it might actually break up the tedium.

Hoping to her feet she looked at him and quickly moved to catch up with him, over hearing some weird beeping he kept doing. Man he really was odd. “Well then martian.” She said finally catching up with him. “I'm game for whatever you wanted to do today.”

Hotaru didn't feel like getting into the wonders of what eletricity in different forms could do and then it would lead on into him trying to dicuss something he actually didn't know too much about. Stupid String theory, it hurt his brain. Even thinking about it he had to stop for a moment and get back to focusing. "Meh." He said and thought about it. He didn't have anything planned for doing anything with friends. If anything he'd bug them about something fun.

"I have no clue..." He said with a shrug as he looked up at the girl, of course she was taller than him, everyone was taller than him. Not like it mattered to him anymore or ever. He liked his height for the fact it would seem to odd to be tall. It also allowed him to climb on people's backs randomly without being much of a burden, he was quite light.

"You have any ideas? The best I could come up with is an arcade and I don't have any money..." He said, it wasn't exactly true but he didn't feel like going all the way back to his dorm room. He got his money from a part time job at the hospital, it was mostly working in the food service part of it but meh, better than nothing.

Alex looked a little crestfallen when she realized Hotaru hadn't had anything planned. He seemed so sure a minute ago he was going to do something now it turned out he was just going to wander around. How odd is this boy that she couldn't pick up on that to begin with, Alex wondered.

“Yeah I have no clue either.” Alex said conceding defeat. “And I'm completely broke right now too.” She added wishing she hand't given up the job hunt so soon after she realized the only work she could probably get is part time as a waitress. And the prospect of serving a bunch of leering men as she read there every dirty though and being forced to smile through it all for rather lousy pay did not sound appealing at all. Of course this perpetual state of poverty wasn't very appealing either.

“I don't know,” She shrugged again, realizing she had no idea what to do for fun around here, she usually just moped around and watched the days flow by but she seriously doubted someone like Hotaru would find that entertaining. “What do you normally do around here for fun on the cheep?” She asked crossing her arm and giving him a side ways glance.

Taking a moment to look through his bag after pulling it off of his back, he should've brought his sideback along with him. It had more stuff in it. "Well, I usually sit in the library or something and read books for a while or something. Besides that I usually sleeping or something. I don't do much with my spare time besides the MMA club." He said and pulled out two things.

A deck of cards and a small portable chess board. "I have this if you wanna stay here, or we could just talk about nonsense but fun stuff for a while. I got a Ps3 in my room but last time I brought a girl randomly to my room it got annoying from other people. Your choice on any of that." He said and looked through his bag more and put the stuff in his hands off to the side in it.

"There is also fishing or something else like that. I don't know, I'm up for almost anything." He said, the whole time wondering if any of this would appeal to Alex, there were more things but it didn't matter, might as well start with these.

“MMA Club?” Alex said with some slight interest. This kid didn't exactly look like a fighter, she thought. Maybe he has some crazy ninja skills for powers, she chuckled at that thought. “Yeah I don't exactly want to go to the boys dorms.” Alex shuddered being decently attractive girl was bad enough, but having to go into a building crammed with dozens of hormone fulled teenage boys and having to here every thought they had was bad enough. She was sure she would either go insane or burn the dorms down. Then she looked at his cards and smiled.

“We could do that.” Alex said knowing that Hotaru didn't know she could read minds, it would be amusing to see how badly she could beat hi mover and over again until he realizes something is amiss.
