Veronica felt her teeth clenched at the enormous amount of people entering the equally large room. There was plenty of space to accommodate for the sheer amount of people coming and going and getting their various food items. It was absolutely nerve wracking to say the least. She had her flower wrapped around her wrist now, but she hardly noticed as the sheer number of people swarmed in and out of the room. Veronica flinched before finally making her way into the room. The young teen had gathered all of the food she was bold enough to ask for. A turkey sandwich with lettuce and mayo, and of course a bottle of water. She considered getting some chips, but honestly she wasn't hungry enough.
Looking around the busy room, she was just barely able to book herself an empty table. It was a bit on the strange side though, and she felt herself almost become crushed by the dread of coming face to face with any of the people surrounding her. Another lump formed in her throat and she gulped before taking a shaky sigh and attempted to eat her sandwich. Whenever she made eye contact with someone she didn't know, her violet eyes were always brought back to her feet. It seemed to always be that way.
The poor girl was trying desperately to think of a way to calm down happened to find the flower that was on her wrist. Even after a day, that flower showed no signs of dissipating in the slightest. It gleamed in the light that surrounded the room, and it was just enough to keep herself calm. It made her think about the friend that gave her this flower again. For a moment, Veronica had a hard time remembering his name. She only heard it once, after all. But then she remembered it was Aedan. Her first friend. To say that she was looking forward to see him again was an understatement.
