"You don't even want me staying wet from the rain," Maddie said, seeming to lighten up. She laughs a little. "I mean, I guess it's kinda of cute. I've never had anyone outside of my family fret over me before."
She leaned forward to snuggle him again.
The television sprang to life for a second, it was the news, then it was covered by static and the reports voice was warped into inaudibility.

Laetus nodded. "I have one somewhere... Again, might fit a bit awkward and loose since its mine, but it'll be better than that." He opened a portal to his side and dug around in it for a bit before finally pulling out the suit. The suit was mostly black, with yellow arms and collar area.
"If you only have one, shouldn't you wear it?"
She hesitantly took the suit. Maddie had never worn a wetsuit before, but she didn't often go to the beach.
"Maybe I should shift into something so you can wear the suit?"
