Free Magic

So...my character Live would kill for a chance to have access to more magic. She spends a lot of time in the woods practicing demonic summonings or general magic rituals. She has a vast knowledge of magick and magical spells but she lacks the ability or the strength to do a lot of them.
She also has major family issues so this might serve as a connecting point for the two though different backgrounds for sure.

Not sure if this exactly fits what you are looking for but thought I'd throw it out there. Live is a pretty harsh person with no problem using other people. She doesn't have the best people skills though but Wakanda sounds like the type of person that Live may be able to tolerate; especially if she can get some extra magic out of the deal.

Well.........if you wanna add some danger I have a new plot idea that could really shake some things up!

Live is a Shadow Walker; human body, barely human soul so the human body can live, and then the rest is shadow realm spirit. She cannot find enough information about the true purpose of shadow walker's, especially a random one, and feels so disconnected from the human world that all she wants, is to be able to Live in the spirit world. But she can't because of some strange and unanswered questions about the conditions of her soul; she fears death. Part of her want's to just go for it and attempt some magical "death" of sorts so she can just go Live in the spirit world and be their king.
This would entail who the hells no what and it could get as dangerous as we want it.

Well, Live is a very controlled and thoughtful person. She doesn't act rashly (though when she does act rashly it's because she has lost control of herself) so before she tries to magic "death" herself, she is gonna wanna do some research. She spent most of her first year at Hammel locked on the library reading and doodling. So, maybe we have the two of them meet, Live can realize the perfect opportunity she has been handed and convince Wakanda to help her. Live does her research and then they figure out a way to go into Live's shadow realm to try to find the spirit that sparked her creation. I think the best way to "do this" is through astral projection/meditation which Live is
(I already have some ideas about this but I won't say anymore on it right now...)
Either way, they don't find it. Bad shit happens. Spirits get out. One of them doesn't quite re-enter the physical world so well. Whatever the hell we ant. From there even more chaos can ensue and Live just get's more determined to figure out where she came from and where she is going.

There is a lot of plot in that lol...but if this all sounds good to you, it would be awesome for me! I've been trying to get my writing energy more plot focused on here and this would be a great little summer project for me!

For sure! Entering weird shadow realms can have all kinds of weird consequences. I have a feeling Live will definitely end up with something getting funky with her shadows. Probably start really losing control of shit...

But yes, meeting point! There is a clearing in the woods just outside of campus that she often goes to. That is probably the best place to run into Live but she could also be anywhere in the woods walking. So, they could either meet up while Live is doing some magic of her own or randomly bump into each other in the middle of the night, wandering around. Live won't ever be out in daylight (unless it's like, walking between buildings or something).

Haha yeah. Live is basically chronically pale. Now that I think about it...that probably causes some illness I should look into...
That is totally fine. I think I actually get really busy with work next weekend anyways. But we can get through a good chunk of stuff before then I think.
