Gabe held up his hands and then made a move as if to "zip-up" his lips,
"sorry sorry," he squeaked. "What do you want to talk about now?"

"Yeah man I think there's something wrong with me, I'm always hungry, no matter how much I eat," he sighed, maybe it was just that he enjoyed eating too much. But he didn't even eat that unhealthily seen as he was a vegetarian he tended to be able avoid greasy meals that came along with having meat. He guessed that that was most likely his problem, it could be difficult to get the right nutrition from vegetarian foods if you weren't careful about what you ate.

"What's the matter?" Gabe questioned, after noticing William's embarrassed state. Sometimes he wished he was the mind reader.

<div align=center>William squeaked and shook his head rather vigorously, he laughed nervously and hunched his shoulders. "I.. Uh... Nothing!" He laughed again, glancing nervously around the room. He rubbed the back of his neck and sat up straight. "I wasn't thinking about anything..." He laughed again and bit down on his lower lip, he feigned an innocent smile and uncrossed his legs, dropping his hands to his knees. "It doesn't matter." He took a breath, and sighed lightly, glancing briefly at Gabriel, that only made him blush even more. He dropped his head to the table, his forehead collided with the wood with a quiet thud.

"Oh dear." He grumbled, closing his eyes and crossing his legs again, I wanna kiss you so bad. He peeked at Gabe for a moment, giggled, and hid his face again. "Just talk, or something." He murmured, "I like the sound of your voice." He stated, his voice slightly muffled against himself. He lifted his head again and leaned back in his chair, he felt like people were staring at him and he didn't like it, though they most likely weren't and he was just being a little paranoid, he was paranoid most of the time, and it was annoying for him.</div>

"Oopsie daisies are you okay?" Gabe's tone was one of concern, as William hit his head against the table. He could tell William was hiding something from him but to avoid further injury he decided not to press the subject.

"I have an amazing voice," Gabe joked, "it's so soft and alluring." He chuckled. In fairness Gabe did have a nice voice though it was definitely not as he described it, well the soft part anyways. It contrasted quite a bit with William's, his was much more innocent and childlike. Plus Gabe had a bit of an accent.

Gabe sighed,
"I don't know," he bit his lip, "usually I know what to talk about but I can't think of anything, apart from questions about you but I don't want to bug you but I want to find out more about you " he rambled on.

<div align=center>Bill shrugged, he generally wasn't all that good at conversations, the topic tended to usually trail off with him, and it left nothing else for him to really say. In all honesty, he was still a little pissed off about the fact Gabriel had forgotten his name, he'd remembered his. Bill stifled a quiet yawn, it was around the time of day he'd usually take a nap, but he'd already fallen asleep on Gabriel once, he didn't really want to do it again. "Don't know why," he mumbled, "I'm not very interesting." He tugged at the sleeve of his jumper, pulling them both down over his hands. It was frayed and worn out, it looked like he'd had it for a long time. There were several ladders creeping down one half of the chest, and on the right sleeve, where the wool had perhaps been torn, it didn't look all that warm.

The boy's chestnut hair had fallen in front of his face, he hadn't bothered to push it away again. His head was starting to hurt and he wished he'd got his glasses from his room, his eyesight perhaps wasn't as good as it could be. Bill sighed shortly, his eyes flickering up briefly to meet Gabe's, he lifted an eyebrow and propped himself up on the table with his elbow again, he could feel stubble growing on his face and it made him frown, shaving had been the bane of his life since he'd hit puberty, no matter how clean he liked to keep himself, the thought of putting something that sharp so close to his neck made him feel terribly uneasy. Bill often struggled to see past the worst case scenario, better to be safe than sorry.</div>

Gabriel studied William for a moment,
"I think you'll find you're a lot more interesting than you think you are." He didn't even know all that much about William yet already he knew the boy wasn't like everyone else. He wasn't an ordinary person, no one at Starlight Academy was uninteresting, at least not to Gabe. "For example your powers are certainly something that could make you more interesting than another," he shrugged.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Gabe asked, he liked to know what people's views on things were. He wondered if William was bored by Gabe because of how little Bill was saying or maybe he was just like this with everyone. Gabe figured that maybe if he let William lead the way he'd be able to learn more about him.

<div align=center>"And a dollar for your insights," William answered idly, though it wasn't a question. A small smirk tugged at the corners of his lips, he almost regretted the fact that he still thought Gabe was too old for him, he voiced the fact, and lifted an eyebrow at him, though he didn't say anything else on the matter, merely grabbed the sleeve of Gabriel's hoodie and clasped it gently in his fingers, simply because he liked to have something to hold onto, he supposed Gabriel's hand would have been a little more conventional, but it was slightly less awkward this way. His eyes flickered to the table, and his other hand slipped out from underneath his chin.

William was feeling a little peaky, the pre-winter chill was getting to him and he thought he was getting sick, then again Bill got sick at the drop of a hat, his immune system wasn't really very good. It was cute that Gabriel thought that he was interesting, "you're a sweetheart, Gabriel." He mumbled, looking up at him again and smiling sweetly, it made him look young, as if he didn't already look like a fifteen year old. "We can split, if you want," he shrugged, "there's better places than here?"</div>

"I don't think I am too old," Gabriel pouted, " it's not that big an age gap..." he tried. Gabe smiled as William took the sleeve of his hoodie, he was half tempted to put his hand out and weave his fingers through William's. "It's...only a couple of years," he blinked.

"I'm not as sweet as you seem to think," Gabe laughed, "honestly, I never try to be sweet!" He found it funny how William was so intent on calling him a sweetheart. "You're the sweetheart." He patted William on the head.

"Sure, where to?"

<div align=center>"Five years is a long time," he mumbled, suddenly seeming a little unfocused on everything, he hunched his shoulders and sighed lightly. He wished a little he hadn't thought of that, Gabriel was in his twenties, and well, poor William was barely legal. Gabriel was so much bigger than him that William was just a tiny bit frightened of him above all else, though he didn't doubt the man wouldn't hurt him or force him into anything, that's all he was frightened of, William was easily controlled, since he was all too naive and not very strong, that was the downside of his childish nature.

Bill frowned slightly as Gabe patted him on the head, he lifted his free hand and held Gabe's there, the man's hand was warm, and he found himself clinging to it. He didn't know where he wanted to go, he just wanted to get out of here for a little while. He whimpered softly, tightened his grip on Gabe's hand and dropped his head to the table again. "I'm confused again." He mumbled, sniffling a little and shaking his head. "I don't know what's happening." Chances are Gabriel would have to get used to this for a little while.</div>

"Five years," Gabriel repeated thoughtfully, "I s'pose but..." he trailed off, he couldn't really argue with that fact. "Well, I mean I'm not very mature, and you seem to be the opposite so in terms of how we act I don't think there's that big an age gap." Though he supposed in some ways William was quite immature, such as when it came to handling his emotions especially his anger.

"Why are you confused now?" Gabe asked, he didn't understand what William meant by he didn't understand what was happening. "As in, by me patting you on the head you are confused or something else?" he gave William's hand a sympathetic squeeze, he wasn't really sure what else to do.

<div align=center>William muttered something and pushed himself to his feet, he was getting frustrated with the situation, he wasn't used to being in situations like this and he confused because he had no idea how to behave. It was irritating him, Gabriel didn't understand that, and Bill couldn't blame him. Most boys his age had at least had a girlfriend, or even a boyfriend depending on whatever they preferred, but Bill hadn't even looked at another person romantically, letalone been in any kind of relationship. Feelings and compliments were completely new to him, and they felt strange and foreign, and he didn't know how to feel, or what to do about them.

Bill paused, he didn't want Gabriel to think he was annoyed with him, because he wasn't, he made a move to turn around and walk away, but he remained in his spot, staring down at the other boy, brow furrowed. "I've already explained it." He grumbled, sighing shortly and tensing up a little. Though, he couldn't fully remember if he actually had explained it or not, "I'm sorry," he sighed, frowning at Gabriel and rubbing his forehead, he forced a small smile and shook his head. "I told you, I'm not used to being in these sort of circumstances."</div>
