Gabe had started drumming his fingers absently on the table, he wasn't used to people getting confused when he was talking to them. Of course there were times when people didn't understand what he was saying but then he'd explain it again. But people were never usually confused by the overall meaning of the situation, if he complimented them they knew he meant it as that and they didn't read into it all that much.

"Okay..." Gabe didn't remember him explaining it but he decided not to mention that as he presumed it was just himself being forgetful as usual. His mother always told him he had a brain like a goldfish and a head like a sieve. "I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to make you uncomfortable."

<div align=center>William let out a breath, and sat back down again, looking a little bit lost. Gabriel wasn't making him uncomfortable. He'd never said that, which made him scowl again, "look, I've never been in a relationship in my life and you've probably been in twelve different ones this month." He grumbled, his frown deepening, though it was more cute than anything else. "I'm confused because you hit on me and then you vanish for days at a time," he squeaked, "or.. Is that how it works?" He asked, looking confused all over again. If it was how it worked, Bill thought it was a little bit strange.

Bill hoped that wasn't how it worked, because over all it upset him, and he didn't like it. His head collided with the table for the third time, and he looked a little sad this time. He whimpered softly, fumbling across the table for something to hold on to again, people had given him funny looks, but he'd disregarded them and carried on. He wanted to go somewhere else, but he didn't really want to be alone. He didn't much like being alone, it was scary. Especially in a place he didn't really know all that well.</div>

Gabe bit his lip,
"Oh, I see...," he sighed softly, "that's okay." He smiled, " I guess it makes sense why you're confused then, 'cause it's all new to you and stuff?" He wasn't being condescending, more like trying to make William feel more comfortable. "No," Gabe shook his head, "that's not how it works, and it's not fair of me to do that."

"I don't mean to, it's just as you've probably realised by now I'm usually v quite forgetful so I sometimes don't get to see you for a few days... I know that's awful, I will try make more of an effort to see you more frequently. Just I had some big exams recently so I didn't get the chance."

There was an unfamiliar gnawing feeling in his gut, the boy was genuinely confused because of Gabe and he felt bad about it. "Are you okay?" His voice went up an octave as he noticed William's head hit the table again.

<div align=center>William wrapped his fingers around Gabe's wrist, "I don't know if I want to kiss you or punch you square in the face, Gabriel," he muttered, almost scornfully. But nothing ever sounded nasty when William said it, he couldn't force that tone of voice. He wasn't likely to hurt anyone any time soon either, he was too soft hearted to do anything of the sort. His hand slipped to meet Gabriel's. He shook his head a little, he wasn't all that okay, though perhaps he just needed to take a nap, it was that sort of time, as well as the fact that he had just eaten.

He tugged Gabriel's hand to himself, and placed it on top of his head, somewhat unthinkingly. He wanted just wanted comfort, he felt sick. Perhaps he shouldn't have eaten after all, this is what usually happened, he felt guilty about it, William's image was almost everything to him, he hated to look bad, yet in his mind he never looked good either, it was a difficult situation for him, and he struggled with it a lot. He needed to meditate for half an hour, meditate or nap. He let his eyes flutter shut, "I think I'm gonna vomit."</div>

"And why would you want to do such a nasty thing as punch me?" Gabe batted his eyelashes, playing innocent. Though the truth of the matter was he couldn't ever imagine William punching anybody in the face and, besides, if he did it wasn't likely to hurt all that much. "Although feel free to kiss me all you like," he giggled. He was craving affection right now.

Gabe was content to sit there, side by side with William, holding hands and listening to his breathing. He daringly decided to press a small kiss to William's cheek, "you are really cute, Bill." He muttered.

"Oh no!" Gabriel exclaimed, "perhaps we should go to the bathrooms um just in case," he frowned. "Maybe you've caught a bug or something," he said naively.

<div align=center>A small, nervous smile crossed the boy's face. He blushed hard, and giggled a little. He held his hand to his cheek for a moment, "that was cute." He muttered, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. William seemed incredibly nervous all of a sudden, not like he had before, it was somehow different. He was still clinging to the man's hand, though the grip was just that little bit tighter now. He pushed himself to his feet, shuffled round and kissed him on the top of the head, he hooked both arms around his neck and pulled him to his chest, mumbling something affectionate.

"It'll pass," He mumbled, he felt a little awkward just here, William was an incredibly affectionate sort of boy, but he generally wasn't very good at showing any kind of affection, he didn't know what to do and what not to do, so he just stayed there, petting Gabriel gently with one hand. He laughed a little and shook his head, "I wish it was a bug," he smiled a little, "bugs always go away in the end." There was something melancholy in his tone of voice, though it was unlikely he would elaborate.</div>

"Maybe I'll have to do it again then," Gabriel teased, " the more cute stuff the better." He really like the way William's cheeks went rosy when he was embarrassed, the look actually suited him and made him look even younger and cuter if that were possible.

Gabriel made an 'oof' sound, he hadn't expected that. Not that he minded at all. He looked upwards towards William and giggled, he was seeing Bill's face upside down and the whole situation was making him feel a little dizzy. "Has anyone ever told you that you smell really nice?" Gabe asked.

"Oh," Gabriel said, sounding a little lost. "If it's not a bug then is it an allergy?" He cocked his head, "or something else?" Gabe had been quite sheltered when it came to things like eating disorders and mental health issues and so for that reason he hadn't really grasped what William's problems were. It wasn't because he was ignorant, he had just been fortunate to not have experiences with either situation.

<div align=center>William stood straight and rubbed the back of his neck, he still had one hand absently petting the top of Gabe's head, he shook his head a little, "nope." He mumbled, he'd mussed Gabe's hair up, "you wanna leave?" He asked quietly, "we could go somewhere else, there's too many people here." Regardless of whether he could hear their thoughts or not, he didn't like overcrowded places, they made him nervous. Plus, he rather wanted just to be with Gabriel right now, he wanted to sit and cuddle him, he was far too innocent right now to even think about doing anything more. He just liked affection.

Bill laughed softly again, and scratched the man idly behind the ear, like you would a dog. "Don't worry about it," he murmured softly, smiling at him, "it's nothing you should be concerned about, anyway." He hated others to worry about him, he didn't think he was worth their concern and it upset him. "C'mon, let's get out of here." He glanced to the doorway, though he'd probably have to end up passing by the bathrooms in the end anyway, he really didn't feel all that good at all, and he cursed himself for it.</div>

Gabe fixed his hair, he didn't mind that William had messed it up but he didn't like leaving it messed up for long periods of time. Gabe nodded,
"Sure, but this time you've gotta choose where you wanna go." He laughed, "I mean we could go back to my dorm again or something but I haven't cleaned it since the last time and you don't like mess." He stuck out his tongue.

"Okay!" Gabe believed that he didn't have anything to worry about because William said so, why would he lie?. "I hope whatever it is gets fixed soon though." He smiled. "Alright dude, lead the way."

<div align=center>William smiled softly at the fact that Gabriel had remembered he liked to be clean, he nodded a little, he just wanted to go somewhere quiet for a little while. He wasn't sure if he wanted to sleep yet or not, perhaps, though perhaps he just wanted to go somewhere with Gabriel and cuddle up against him, he didn't have to sleep. He laughed again, and shook his head. "That's enough of that," he mumbled, he didn't want to talk about this anymore, it was something he wasn't altogether comfortable with, though he couldn't blame Gabriel, he didn't understand and that wasn't his fault.

He wove his fingers through Gabriel's and tugged him to his feet. He was too sweet to mean any harm in it. "Alright," he smiled, "let's go."</div>
