Wei smiled and took the sandwich from Aurix, biting into it. Peanut butter and banana. Clearly the most superior sandwich flavor. It's also one of the few varieties of sandwich he could eat. Or, to be more accurate, liked to eat.
He watched their stare-down with intrigue, chewing slowly on peanut butter and intermittent slices of banana, taking an occasional sip of Earl Gray. He didn't mind the lack of sugar--that was just how he took his tea anyway. Not that he was ever allowed to add sugar to his tea back home anyway.
<font color=ffcd05>"No, it's okay."</font> He said, curling his toes in the grass. <font color=ffcd05>"I don't mind Swinger."</font>
Once he finished his sandwich and tea, he broke the small loaf of banana bread into fourths, shoving a fourth of it into his mouth. It didn't taste as good as Hari's banana bread, but it still tasted amazing, like a gift from the gods. He wondered if he could go back in time to the man who first tried to put bananas into a bread form and shake his hand.
All of a sudden Aurillia and Aurix were talking together in a strangely harmonious surround sound. It was more than a little jarring to hear one of them start a sentence only to have the other cut in to finish it, switching off every now and again until they were so in sync that their voices layered on top of each other.
Yeah. He could definitely see how this would be creepy.
<font color=ffcd05>"Uh,"</font> thinking for several moments, he finally shrugged. <font color=ffcd05>"I don't know. I don't think I'm really good at anything... other than gym. But you can't go to college for gym. Well, I guess you could, but it seems like a waste of time."</font>
His finger traced the lip of the empty teacup in front of him. <font color=ffcd05>"I always did kinda wanna be a psychiatrist, though."</font>
He nodded enthusiastically when they asked about China. <font color=ffcd05>"Yes, I'm Chinese. There are a lot of ruins around where I grew up--in Turpan City. I used to climb them at night... One time, when I decided to explore inside, I found an amulet and a jade ring! The amulet gave me weird visions and then broke, but I kept the ring for a long time! 'Till my brother sold it..."</font>
