He nodded hesitantly. "But... Don't push too hard, Shay-shay. Its no good if you get sick or hurt yourself..." Honestly, he was a massive hypocrite. He couldn't count the number of times he's set himself on fire practicing his magic or cut himself 'training' with his tanto.
"So... what'd you see?" He asked, finally letting his curiosity leak out over his concern.

Shay smiled shyly upon being asked what she saw. "A lot of colors. That's how I see in that...form. Uh, I don't think --" She paused, trying to understand just how to phrase it. It didn't make sense to her. "I don't think --" Her lips pursed, and she huffed in frustration. "Something about it seems all wrong to me! I mean, your magic doesn't seem all that strong, but it has to be? I wonder... I don't know."

He looked at her confused. "Its not strong? And was that all that seemed wrong or..?"

"I think so? It doesn't come with a manual or anything, so I only have past experience to understand if everything is fine. But I do think you have some seal on you. I don't know how, or what."

"A... seal?" He tilted his head, but then it clicked. "That legend! The angels! Or Priestesses or whatever!" He seemed excited. He figured something out! "Its the seal they put on him. On Gin-Shi... Maybe... Thats why I'm..." His excitement turned to fear. A seal? Thats all that...
"Maybe thats... why I'm... Me..?" By the end, his excitement was dead. The idea that all that made him himself, and not Gin... Was a 500 year old seal... It was scary...

"It must be pretty powerful if it allowed you to get a whole new personality," Shay said as a method of reassurance. She worked the glove off her right hand, pulling it at each finger, so it took awhile. When her hand was free, she gently laid the glove on her lap. "You don't have to be afraid."

He nodded. "I... guess so... It just kinda... makes me feel fragile. Clearly its not perfect since I changed before... What if it breaks? I... I guess it just makes losing myself... Tangible. Like its not something I can will myself back from, its..." He bit his thumb to try and stop thinking about it so hard.

Shay reached forward with her bare hand to lightly put her index finger to his forehead. She closed her eyes just as the whirlwind-like sound that came with her abilities accompanied the touch. It was a zero to one hundred situation; she had found. Smaller bits of contact didn't change the strength of her power.

She was more prepared for it this time when she saw death, all his. What was odd to Shay was the metaphorical deaths. Gin really must have been a different person, for more than one vision of hers included his coming out. That was death. In a weird way, it was as fickle as all things seemed to be on Manta Carlos.

Her breathing was slow and rhythmic, as if she were trapped in a nightmare she knew all too well.

Kenta was more than surprised when she did this. He became completely still. "S-shay-shay I...What..." He simply stared at her. This was different somehow. She wasn't collapsing, she didn't seem hurt but... What... Why was she doing this?

At last, Shay dropped her hand and breathed in deeply. She was somewhat disoriented when she opened her eyes, but she was more or less all right. The girl smiled, opting not to bring up everything she saw. There was no reason for it. "Thanks."
