Vannie flitted around her dorm room; brushing her hair, putting on her shoes and such.

Her cousin, Pisces, the NERD was coming. And even though she wasn't exactly Vannie's cousin, her brains were quite helpful. Vannie went to find Shiloh.

The thirteen-year-old was feeling especially out of place here. A light blue sundress covered her body, with poofy kind of sleeves over her shoulders. The skirt poofed out so she had room to run around — it was certainly something her cousins weren't used to doing. Giggling slightly at the thought, Pisces tossed a lock of slightly wavy blonde hair over her shoulder and stepped off the boat that had brought her there.

She stumbled slightly on the solid ground, but quickly caught her footing. She removed her sandals and set her bags down in the sand, wriggling her toes around. Liquid blue eyes gazed around and she shifted, beginning to feel uncomfortable without someone here to pick her up.

"Vanessa? Shiloh?" she called out sheepishly, shifting her weight around again.

Vannie, not finding Shiloh, guessed that he was already on the beach waiting for Pisces. She would be late meeting her cousin, but at least it was fashionably late. She went out to the beach, Poodlekins in tow. "Pisces! Darling!" She eyed her clothing choice--and her barefeet — distainfully.

"Pisces! Darling!"

Pisces looked up and smiled gratefully when she saw Vanessa. She ran to her cousin, dropping her shoes and bags on the sand and throwing her arms around her. "You're here!" she exclaimed, stating the obvious. She looked at Vannie and grinned, taking a few steps away. "You've grown!"

Shiloh quickly appeared behind Vannie, and he, too, looked at Pisces lack of shoes. "You've always been an odd one...." he said before hugging the water elementalist. "What've you been up to, Fishleton?" He mussed Pisces' hair, which only received a slightly deadly stare from the girl.

"Go get my bags?" she requested of her male cousin. It was the only way she could get proper payback for her nickname and him messing with her hair.

Shiloh scoffed, but did as he was told. Someone had to be the man around there...

"Yes, Fishleton, dear. You're going to hurt your feet if you keep runnin around barefoot, love." Vannie said in a motherly tone.

She pulled her wand out. "And that dress!" She shook her head. "Stand there." She waved the wand. "MELEKA NOOMYYY" She exclaimed. "Ball gown looney!"

Pisces didn't quite appreciate Vannie telling her that. "It keeps me in touch with the earth..." she defended quietly, but they would most likely laugh at her. She wasn't like the rest of her family and everyone knew it.

An eyebrow perked as Vanessa tried to work her magic on her dress. Since it was the only spell Vanessa could cast, it worked and her dress was transformed into a ballgown.

"... I can't believe I'm related to you idiots..." she said under her breath. "I liked this dress..."

Vannie giggled. "Yay, it's perfect! Shiloh, lookie! It's boo-ti-full-mouse!!!!!" She exclaimed. "Now, for your hair! We can redo it in Shiloh's and my fashion-wing. They just finished adding it on." She told her cousin, ignoring her rude comment.

Shiloh clapped his hands together. "You look marvelous, Pisces!" he exclaimed. "Now, for your hair, I'm thinking we should... hm... I don't know, Fishleton. What do you think, Vannie? She's in her awkward teenage years... I don't know if there's anything that can solve this."

Pisces hated her family. It wasn't her cousin's faults, though; they had been raised like this. "I really don't like fancy things, Vanessa," she said, being as honest as she could. "I like my hair and my clothes the way that they are." She smiled, hoping Vanessa would approve but doubting such a thing was possible.

Vannie studied Pisces thoughtfully. "You may be right, Shiloh." She looked rather content, but when Pisces said that she didn't like fancy things, she looked shocked and horrified. Her wand fell from the ground. She took Pisces face in her hands and squeezed her cheeks. "Not...like..." She uttered a laugh. "You're such a joker, Fishleton! Hah! You almost had me there for a minute..."

Pisces was growing sick of this rather fast. They were her family and she loved them, though. Sighing, she pried Vanessa's hands from her face. "Not joking," she said with a smile. "I really don't like fancy stuff."

Shiloh choked out a gasp and put his hands on his heart. The male spun in a full circle before falling on the ground, twitching from time to time. Not... like... fancy?
