It was night, low clouds covered the small town. The city was sleeping, the lights closed for the night and the streets empty of anyone, completely empty? No, for there was someone out there waiting for something to happen. She wore a cloak that hid every inch of her body and red eyes could be seen glinting from under the hood when the rare moon ray would touch her skin. She looked like the idea mortals think as being death itself. But she wasn't.

She stood completely still, a wind making her cloak flutter in an ominous way. The vampire, because it was what she was, was in the town she had founded. It was here that she had lived for a while. Not a sound was exiting her for the moment, but it would not stay that way, she had several calls to make. Not by phone mind you, but by a means of communication much more efficient. She lowered her head to hide her eyes and slowly a chant rose from the vampire lady. It glided through the air as silk over the skin of a woman.

It was harsh like a poison but sweet like candy. It sounded dangerous and commanding, but at the same time it was regal. It suited the woman well. The sound was like the distant roar of thunder but coming out of a human mouth. Human ears could not ear it, but many shifted uneasily in their sleep at the feel of it. Slowly, the call fell back to silence and the woman still hadn't moved.

(Anyone that is part of the coven must come, those wishing to become part of it come too.)

The hooded figure moved slowly down the street, cane clicking quietly. Normally the vampire would have left the cane, but she was walking around in an unknown place, and she felt safter with it, even though it made her feel old.

She was dressed in all black and her hands were gloved, as always. Her blonde curls were loose, but concealed by the hood on her cape. Her dark blue eyes gleamed brightly, and she turned her head as though she were looking around, though she could see nothing.

She came to a stop moments later. She could sense someone standing there. "Hello?" She said in a quiet, edgy voice. She hated not being able to know who was around her, nor being able to see their expressions. She waited expectantly for a reply.

Legion was wandering around the market. Why he was doing that, he did not know. Legion just seemed to want to wander today. He was in that kind of mood. Legion shivered without knowing why. It wasn't cold. Quite the contrary, it was quite warm, and nice out. He crossed his arms to keep himself warm, because a slight chill fell around him. "What's going on here? It's not cold. But, I am a little cold." Legion reached the center of the market without even knowing where he was going. He looked up, and saw a woman. She was lovely, and attractive.

It was late, and rather dark out. The woman hadn't been in this part of the town in a rather long time, if she had even been here at all. It didn't look familiar... and yet, she knew exactly where she was going. It was strange, but she would live with it. It felt almost like that one time in the cafeteria... but she wasn't sure. That had been so long ago that she could hardly remember.

A long, black trench coat hung open. A belt that was wrapped around her waist held the sheath of her sword. A small hat was upon her head. However, unlike every other time she wore it, no shadow was cast upon her face, and her waist-length charcoal hair was hanging freely.

A deathly pale, slender hand held a smaller hand. One hand belonged to her daughter, and the other to her son. She wasn't going to let them wander about on their own in a place like this.

She looked down at both of them, boots clinking on the stone of the sidewalk in the market place. The chains on her pants rattled somewhat, and the necklace that Percy had given her was around her neck. Cordelia looked back up and looked around. How odd... there were quite a few people here.

"Stay close..." she said to her kids, just in case something out of the ordinary was going on. Dark blue eyes scanned the area, though she didn't seem to see Rayana just yet. There was a mortal and some cloaked figure, but she just wasn't seeing the elder.

Setsuna nodded, walking alongside his mother. Blonde hair hung in front of his face and the same colored eyes as his mother's looked around in curiosity. He didn't understand why they were out so late, but he liked it out here. Unfortunately, Cordelia had told him he had to leave the poisons back at home.

He was wearing a trench coat, just like his mommy, though his was buttoned up. The hand that wasn't holding Cordelia's was in his pocket, and he looked to Sasha. He smiled at his sister, though he didn't say anything.

When told that they needed to stay close, Setsuna moved slightly behind his mother, looking up at her and then back to his sister, slightly afraid. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he would listen to his mother anyway.

Sasha hobbled along, her hand in Cordelias. She was still wearing her cast and using her crutches, but she had ditched hte crutches and taken off the cast and wraped her foot in a small bandage. She didnt want to look like a total klutz for this. She smiled at Suna when she saw him looking at her, then she looked ahead.

She watched peoples faces, eagerly waiting for something to happen. She was so excited to finally be able to meet other vampires who didn't have there mind set on being mean or ditching her. SHe used her free hand to adjust the hem on her favorite white dress and fluttered her wings a little so she could keep up with COrdelia and Suna.

"So, what do we do know? " she asked as she looked up at her mother, still waiting for something to happen. Sasha Pulled at a strand of her hair that had blown infront of her face, then tucked it behind her ear impatiently.

The high scent of blood came from the ground seconds after he heard the call near his master as blood began to spill through the small cracks like a well. "What do you request of me?" He said still sounding as if he was a slave though she said that she didn't want him as one. Jira's body formed from the blood this was the real Jira not a blood puppet as he looked at her excess blood from his travel underground formed into his current clothing.

Jira's over sized grim reaper cloak was dark and very eerie. His hood held up by a golden laced string that was tied loosely around his neck and the hood was shadowing his eyes except for the deadly reddish tint that always seemed to shine. The end of his sleeves were ripped showing that this cloak was at a time much larger then this. They held no hands, no, those were just lifelessly swaying at his sides as he was slightly humped over as he began to stand straight as he was no longer one with his blood. The cloak's bottom was ripped as well though showing no boots or feet, the robe shadowed what was under them as he almost seemed to glide when he moved.

The robe hid any other signs of clothing as he looked toward his master not paying attention to anyone else who was there only here to answer his master's call and order and then move about his own business again as he was very busy with matters but these ones came first.

The whispers of wind rushing past feathers as weings propelled the body of another forward. Golden wre the color of the wings as they folded, body now safely on the ground. Unlike the cloaked figure that was Jira the newcomer now stood behind body was much better. Tan pelt covered her body. Metal covered her chest and shoulders almost like a breastplate, as well as the small piece that covered her head.

The lioness looked at the people around them and made no sound. Jaws widened in a yawn as she sat on hind legs, ear twitching idley. Red eyes looked towards the elder and then towards Jira.

Loriana had followed Cordelia wherever she was going curiosity and a strange compulsion had led the winged redhead to the market of a small city. She was walking through the twists and turns, following the older woman. She had been released from her cast the day before and this time she hadn't had to use a spork to succeed. She uneasily tucked her crimsom wings on her back for a easier way in the streets.

The lean teenager arrived in the market shortly after the older woman. She stopped shy a few feet behind and to the right of the one that had cared more about her than everyone else combined. Her eyes searched around and she found there were a lot of people around, gathered there.

The black haired elder had been observing the arrival of the different people. She had heard or seen every last one of them come into the market, the very empty market. She could count a few mortals thrown into the numbers as well as a few unknown vampires. Some of the vampires she had been expecting did not come, Ronlyn and Roliner for example. She didn<t know how they had even been able to disobey her summons. The only reaction she had to that was a small unnoticeable frown.

When the blind looking vampire launched a timid hello, she did not answer just yet. She was waiting for the last of the vampires and mortals to arrive. but her demeanor seemed to change slightly from slightly threatening to only mildly so. She raised an hidden eyebrow at Jira as he came out of the ground.

"Jira..." She said. "This is a meeting, wait and you'll see."

It had been said in her usual tone of voice, cold, but dripping in the ear like a warm breeze. Attractive, certainly, lovely? If she ever heard anyone call her that she would be partial about killing them. The words themselves were a discreet enough dismissal, she wanted him to stay quiet for the moment.

''I have called you all here to discuss what some of you are part of.'' She said loudly enough fr even the mortals to hear. ''You are all here because of the coven and a coming war that most of you are not aware of.''

war

Jira was now paying perfect attention, he never had actually been in a war, but being the deadliest one of the deadliest assassins around and not having any other use he really wanted to kill that many, maybe he could find that challenge among the many many soldiers around where this war was breaking out.

Odette sighed inaudibly. It had been a stupid idea to come here. She didn't know how much help she'd be in a war, and she didn't want to fight anyway. Why waste all that energy on people who were just a waste of space and air?

She didn't turn to leave though; she waited patiently and listened to the elder.
