John Sageman was a werewolf, a new arrival to Monta Carlos. He had adapted to the school pretty quickly, being able to turn into a seven foot tall humanoid wolf meant you were open to pretty much anything.

Somehow he ended up mating a odd cat girl named Addy. Despite her being strange, she had been nice enough to set him up to meet a classmate of hers named Bai.

So here he was, walking through the halls toward the lunchroom. He hadn't been there that long and hadn't really made any friends. He reached the lunchroom doors, taking a breath he smiled and pushed the doors open.

Bai, knew something was up the moment Addy asked her to meet at the cafeteria. Mostly because the crazy cat girl was going in the opposite direction. Her only instructions were to be open minded and friendly. Of course she didn't realize the girl had tried to set her up. In fact she would've hidden in the library if she had known.

She had only gotten a name and a half color, so she waited at an empty close to the door. She had a free period, and the cafeteria was abnormally quiet. She really hoped Addy hadn't set it up that way. She could only imagine what the crazy girl was capable of.

She saw a blonde boy walk in, with a slightly off scent. She wondered if this was him. She quickly looked away, what did she get herself into.

John looked to the right and saw the dark haired girl, he cocked his head, her scent was different. She must be Bai, it was third period so the lunchroom was quiet.

He stepped the rest of the way in, closing the door as he did. He smiled, John was always friendly, but even he got a bit nervous meeting a cute girl. "Hello you must be Bai, I'm John."

He took a seat at the table next to her and smiled at her, "it's good to meet you." John had dated a few girls, not many. A lot of people found that surprising.

"Hey...I know this is strange, being set up with a stranger. I'm new here so I don't really have any friends." He smiled, "Addy seemed like the trickster type. Thanks for coming."

Bai smiled shyly and moved her books out the way. "Nice to meet you John" she said softly. She didn't really understand the whole concept of being set up. Were they supposed to have a date at school? She didn't know enough about this person to even think about a date. Perhaps this was when they were supposed to get to know each other. She regrettably had no experience with relationships, she was always to busy proving she was strong.

"I see, that's what Addy was up too. Well it makes no sense fretting over it now, are you new to the island?" She asked sounding a lot braver than she felt. In fact she was positive she would be okay with the grounding opening up to swallow her whole.

He smiled and chuckled, " yea Addy seemed a bit nutty....but its because of her I'm talking to you, so no complaints here." She seemed nice, shy, but really nice.

"Yea, I'm new......gotta say it's interesting here," he smiled, it just seemed like yesterday that he was the strangest thing he'd ever met, but it wasn't bad here he liked. "I guess when you turn into a wolfman your able to adapt to nearly anything," he laughed a bit at his joke. He liked not hiding the fact that he's a werewolf, even if getting bitten sucked, he still enjoyed his abilities.
