She gave a relieved sigh, knowing there was a chance of Ivana being there... But in an emergency... "If there is greater urgency, then I should chase the sound of the sirens, right?", Soosei assumed, after all that would be where the fire chief would be.
Ivana did not know what to say to that. Not at first anyway. "How about for the first week or so, if there is a big emergency then you can wait til I come back. I don't want you to become scared and get hurt," Ivana told Soosei.

Although she didn't show any fear, one needn't to say she was no fan of seeing others in danger, so she promised: "Alright, I will wait for you here when that happens then."

There was a thumping from Soosei's tail wagging against the bench. "Mmhmm, Monday, ten days. Maybe 14 days. Maybe for the first week it's better I don't work in here, should be better to take the first week to adjust to the sirens somewhat.", Soosei spoke how she felt about working in the station, knowing that the possibility of early triggers was still there.
"That sounds very reasonable," Ivana stated in agreement as she flashed Soosei an understanding smile.

"Mmhmm! I will do my best so that one day I can help everyone in here!", she giggled happily, and soon her eyes followed Izumi's into the sky. "It has been such a long time... Since I have left Nara... Apparently, people still worship me to the same degree as they used to. Makes me glad that without my interference things have been going nicely for them." a pleasant nostalgia was in Soosei's tone as she thought of her previous residence.

Looking at her watch, Ivana saw it was almost time to practice their daily fire drills. "I am sorry Soosei," Ivana said as she got to her feet. "We have our daily fire drill practice in a bit," she explained.
